I have edited my previous 5 star review based on my familyโs last experience here:
My husband, our 8 year old and myself went to eat here as we normally do a couple of times a month. It was very early dinner, around 4:30pm.
We walked into the restaurant and the hostess asked us how many in our group and walked us to a table, I asked her if we could have a booth as I saw that multiple were open for seating. (Sitting in a booth is preferred with kids, it gives them some space and us some privacy.) The hostess stared me down as if so enraged she could physically hit me and rolled her eyes at me. I was in shock by how rude she was. She then took us to the booth and actively stared at me again and rolled her eyes again! I told my family letโs go, we are not eating here anymore. She asked me why we were leaving and I told her I saw her rolled her eyes at my twice, her response was โoh, whatever, bye.โ
Im still in complete shock over this. I asked my husband if I had done anything to make the hostess upset or was being rude unintentionally. Both my husband and child confirmed that was not the case. This hostess is not a new staff member, we have seen her many times over the past year. We have never had any complaints before now. I would shrug this off if it werenโt the most blatantly disrespectful act I have ever experienced from any service person in my entire life.
I will never come here again unless this...

New to Knoxville from Arizona and chose this place based on reviews for how good the fish tacos were.
We ordered the fish tacos ( by the way all they have is tilapia which is not a good fish to make a taco out of ) and steak tacos.
What we got was bland, rubbery tilapia with wilted iceberg lettuce on a soggy flour tortilla. Nothing else.
They choose to serve what they say is pico, (It's not. It's generic, watery salsa) and crema on the side because they don't want the taco to get even soggier.
The steak was chewy, thick cuts, like flank steak on the same soggy, flour tortilla with wilted lettuce and a super runny sauce.
The beans were kind of dry and tasteless, reminiscent of something out of a can and the rice was along the same lines.
We couldn't even bring ourselves to finish the food and ended up throwing it away.
When I called to give feedback to the restaurant and spoke to the manager I asked if they would compensate us and he asked me to bring the food back, that's kind of hard to do when it's in the trash.
We wasted $26 on this place and we will not be back
This is not an authentic taco place by our experience, it is a sports bar and the food that we received was not good.

ย ย ย Read moreIโve been to Soccer Taco multiple times and usually love their food and atmosphere. But after tonight, I will never go back. This is the second time Iโve been served a salad with moldy produceโnot just wilted or questionable, but actual mold. Thatโs not an accident; thatโs negligence. When I brought it to the managerโs attention, instead of taking responsibility, he repeatedly blamed the supplierโas if that excuses serving moldy food to customers. I made it clear that it never should have left the kitchen in that state, yet he kept deflecting. Eventually, the head chef was brought over and offered an apology, but by then, the damage was done.
As for how they "made it right"? They simply removed the inedible salad from the bill. No additional apology, no effort to regain my trust as a customerโjust a shrug and a deleted charge for something I couldnโt eat. That kind of attitude tells me everything I need to know about how this place operates.
If a restaurant is willing to serve visibly molded food, what does that say about the rest of their kitchen standards? This isnโt just bad service; itโs a health hazard. I wonโt be back, and I strongly suggest anyone who values basic food safety steer...
