After a lifetime of being a loyal customer I will never enter one again. This location at 5621 Western Avenue has a broken atm. On August 6th around 6pm, it did not dispense $200 I needed, and I had multiple witnesses see the machine freeze. When I asked a staff member who claimed to be a manager if they had video footage so I could show my bank, he refused to help me, said there was zero video coverage of the atm, no possible way he could get me a receipt, and downright turned me away. He ignored my request for a sign to be put on the atm to protect others.
The money was removed from my account, so I filed a dispute with my bank. They could not get ahold of the atm company, so they asked me to ask weigles for documentation. Today, August 10th at 8am, I called and asked for a manager and a woman named Charlotte claimed to be one. She cut me off as I explained my situation, refused to help me in any way at all, and told me I could contact corporate if I didn't like it.
This situation has been truly disheartening and I will never utilize another Weigles again after this situation.
This store needs to ensure that people claiming to be managers are indeed managers. They need an ATM phone number that actually works. They need video surveillance or the willpower to get video or a receipt.
I have already filed a complaint with the corporation's Powell headquarters, the BBB, and opened two disputes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUPDATED: After viewing the owner's response, I changed my star rating a little, however, I would highly recommend that this gas station makes it VERY OBVIOUS which pumps are which. I have been pumping gas for over 40 years and have driven in nearly every US state. I know the difference between say, diesel and regular gas, and can't recall EVER seeing 100% gas. These pumps all look the same, and there was NO obvious indication that these pumps were any different than an ethanol mix/regular gas pump. It was a waste of my time. ORIGINAL REVIEW: The absolute worst case of bait-and-switch I have ever seen! Driving down the road you see gas for $2.87 unleaded, you pull up to the pump and it's $3.99. I almost started pumping, saw the price and then cancelled. Unbelievable they get...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām giving two because I went in here to buy my Ghost energy drink and there were three employees in the front, Iām not sure if one of them was a manager because she had a black shirt, and when I came to the counter no one made eye contact with me or addressed me in any way throughout the transaction. The cashier scanned my item and continued talking to the other two employees, only asking āreceipt?ā while still not making any eye contact. It made me feel like I was interrupting their conversation. Normally I would not care but you never know what other people are going through, and there is much room for improvement with customer service here. Everyone deserves to be addressed/greeted, no matter how small the transaction or socially inconvenient it may be. Just my two cents...
