For starters walked in to ghost town Iwent in to get a mani and pedi. They ask you to sign in and never again speak to you until it's your turn. I waited about 30 min after my appointment time.They do not ask you what color you would like. I had to help my self to the gel wheel of color.(whatever that is called) manicure I give a 2 star pedicure 0 stars if they were an option here. I kept telling the lady I did not like what she was doing and she proceeded telling me" is ok hunny it look pretty after I done". She was about to proceed with the top coat and I told her not to there were streaks on my toe nail .the lady that holds the intercom phone came to check and she has the addosidy to start fighting with me and I tell her how about good customer service first. she said she didnt care about customer service or my review. I know some customer have bad days and walk in to places and act up. Me that was not my case I was paying for this I was not gettin getting free so I wanted my nails to look nice. I told her I would leave a bad review and she kept going fighting with me and said she did not care about my review or anything blames it on me. Been going to them for almost 3 years. Always went to Annie and always loved my nails. Well Annie is out for 2 months and I called to make an appointment, when I called the owner told me she had an 2 p.m. appointment so she ask me my name and when I said my name she told me "nobody wants to do your nails". So I ask her why because I never give anyone any problems up there. She said I don't know why but we can't do your nails. So I had my sister call to make an appointment and she was told the same thing. However when I had my Hispanic friend call she was given a 3 p.m. appointment. I never cried so hard for being discriminated against especially given them over $1,800 of my money over the years on top of $10 tip I give every time I get my nails done. When I went in person to ask why I was told the workers were scared to do my nails because Annie is not there.... He told me to go to another nail shop. I absolutely love my nails. They aren't too welcoming at 1st, but I believe it may be a language barrier. And or possibly that they just work better without conversation. I get that at 8/10 nail salons I've been to (maybe it's just me lol) I wish they would have the prices listed tho. And also the basic pedicure was $16 but they don't have the professional pedicure chairs with the foot bath attached. They just bring out a bucket with a bag in it, which is essentially the same thing & I have been to other nail salons like this but I guess it's not a deal breaker. The nail tech who did my nails , took her time and paid close attention to detail. She fixed something so simple that I felt didn't look right with no problem.
