I was appalled when I went here today to purchase 2 bottles of tide that were on sale. Mainly due to the associate's attitude. One was Oxi and one was Tide Simply. The lady ringing me up scanned the same bottle of tide Oxi twice instead of each bottle separately as they were a totally different product/SKU. Well I had digital coupons for each and anyone using coupons knows that each coupon affixes to its product during the transaction. Well if u don't scan the right product the coupon will not attach. I guess because they were both "yellow bottles" she assumed they were the same product. Well I had already calculated what my total should be as I had witnessed my friend do the same transaction twice at another store on a different account. Nevertheless the second coupon didn't attach because it was for the other tide. Oxi had already come off. Well after getting my receipt I noticed the error indicating 2 bottles of Oxi were rang instead of 1 Oxi and 1 Simply and brought it to show her and explain kindly. She immediately caught an attitude, huffed and puffed under her breath and had the most disgusting behavior because she had to call the manager over to help void/return and re-do. Aside from the fact that it was HER error because she scanned the SAME item twice she made it a big deal to reverse the transaction and insisted there was no digital q for the other item. Mind you we had just done the transaction at another DG, same q attached because the right product was scanned. What I got from her was absolute rudeness. Mistakes happen and I totally understand she may have genuinely not noticed two different products resulting in scanning one twice but the disgusting attitude and body language when asked to correct the issue was totally inappropriate and unprofessional.    Read moreNormally my roommate and I have no problems whenever we go to this location. It basically is our main dollar general store that we go to all the time on a regular. The staff and the customer service that is provided is always excellent. Now unexpectedly when my roommate went up there just a few minutes ago and the cashier Kayla was very rude to him and accused him of getting an attitude with her last week which resulted in him getting kicked out the store by her coworkers. He politely tried to inform her that she had him mistaken for someone else and asked to speak with the manager and she rudely told him that it didnât t matter due to her being the assistant manager. So he then asked her to review the cameras in order to prove to her that she was wrong, but she just ignored him and checked him out and he left. Once he got home he informed me on what happened and I went back up there with him due to him not being able to get everything he had needed due to him being harassed for no reason at all. I wouldnât recommend anyone to go to that location anymore as long as she is employed as the assistant manager because I wouldnât want anyone else to be harassed for no reason.    Read moreGreat employees, some times you have to find one to come check you out. Not their fault, they only get 150 employee hours to work with a week, but the Manager somehow has the store clean, and stocked. I swear sometimes I think the Manager lives there, and you just know she is on salary. She probably works 50 to 55 hours a week, if not a little more. They always have a smile on their faces even though they work so hard! If you go in, say something nice, and give they a huge smile!
Update: Store has gone to hell. They changed Management about 6 months ago. Man it is dirty, never stocked, employees always on their phones, and one of the new girls is very rude and gave me .47 cents in Pennies because she said and I quote, "I am getting off soon and I'm not about to open some quarters to give you change. You can take the Pennies or you can leave without your change!" Yes she did, while she was on the phone complaining about her job and ringing up my items at the same time.
