Eastown Shopping Center — Local services in Lake Charles

It’s not the best place to shop but it’s place you can run in real quick for bread or just a few things. I used to always get home and find stuff was out of date so maybe make sure you check that. Another thing I fislike about this store is the reason I say a few things is because you can’t bring the buggy through the checkout at that particular market basket. So if you have a lot of groceries you have to set your stuff on conveyor belt and then put your buggy behind the registers which ends up getting to be full of buggies and I guess figure a way to get your groceries to vehicle. Very sweet ppl with alot of patience my mom came in a caused issues by swiping her card 3 times and it declined because she used the wrong card too many times so they rung up all her grocery all over again and were very nice about it and we tried my card and It declined because I used it on the first transaction after she used her card 3 times so they had to put all the grocery back on the shelf they are too patient with my mom after she caused all of that confusion. This place has Market Basket..Dollar tree..and Dollar store..for sure.. The market basket is the oldest of their stores in our areas..however..I noticed everything was at a lower price..than the Moss Bluff and Iowa stores..plus.. The people working at this Market Basket are really nice..and LIKE THIER JOBS..AND WANT TO BE THERE.. THEY TREATED ME LIKE A QUEEN.. YEAH THERE WERE PEOPLE WALKING TO AND FROM THE STORE.. BIG DEAL.. YOU HAVE TO BE AWARE OF YOU SURROUNDINGS EVERY WHERE WE GO NOW...
