Market Basket — Local services in Lake Charles

COUNT YOUR CASH CHANGE BACK!!!!!! If I could leave zero stars I would after what I've dealt with today. A cashier named Donna at the 3rd Ave location(according to receipt) didn't give my correct cash change. Management told me I would get a call tomorrow after someone else takes a look at footage. She's definitely good at her stealing game. As I watched video I personally seen her flip and double count same bill while blocking her drawer. One manager went from saying she gave 4 bills(agreeing w/me)to saying she did in fact give 5 and a $10 bill has peach coloring on it(the one 5 she counted was the only bill w/color). I shouldn't have to wait another business day for this to be handled as a paying customer. The cashier also stated that she has been counting change out to customers(she didn't w/me) as if this isn't her 1st rodeo with a customer complaining about incorrect change. I definitely plan on calling corporate and whomever else I have to about this matter,while WAITING on the store to...

I decided to go to Market Basket on 3rd Avenue in Lake Charles La. The storm tore that store up pretty bad but the store is finally back open. Oh my, I was pleasantly surprised. The store is absolutely beautiful the employees are pleasant and they also added a deli with plate lunches. The deli is huge with a large selections of goodies. They have pre packaged boudin and all kinds of yumminess. They have fried chicken, fried fish which are absolutely delicious, along fried liver, chilli, barbecue ribs, pasta and the list goes on and on. I tried the fried fish and it was absolutely delicious and the fillets were huge. The store was clean and very well stocked. The meat counter was very well stocked. I have to day they have the best evoked meat selection and I love it. The smoked hocks, turkey necks are too die for. That's where I will be shopping from now on. If you live in Lake Charles or just visiting you might want to try Market Basket Deli...

Sandra socks. Not really engaging. I put my few items at the end of the register about 3 ft from the Lil girl with one roll of ground meat. She proceeded to scold me for not putting the separation bar even though there was a clear divide and she can't tell it or do her job. Pay attention. I won't be back. Don't hire old angry people.
