Read moreI had called Assurant to file a claim for a broken front screen replacement and they said this location was the closest to fix my phone so they recommended to call before going so I did , a guy answered the phone and told me to schedule an appointment through an email , they had 3 available slots and one was for 5PM but he told me they stop taking phones at 5 and he preferred I come in at 4:30 So I came in earlier , when I got there , he was inspecting the phone and then I was told that they weren’t able to fix it due to the buttons on the side not working and tried turning me away without fully inspecting it. A woman then came out and said they will do a diagnosis on it and they will let me know. I left for about 20 minutes and I went back and was told they can fix it and it’ll be 20 minutes. I was walking around the outlets for more than 40 minutes no one had contacted me so I called and then was told they can’t fix it. I kept returning to the store within a day or a few days after each service. Every time, I faced a new issue: first, my home screen button came unglued; then, the screen sensor stopped working properly; and finally, I now have a white line running down my screen. The store did not offer me a refund; they claimed to negotiate with the owner, but the only option they gave me was to pay more money to replace the screen again and get a free overpriced screen protector, which I declined because I was fed up. I remained kind and patient after weeks of dealing with this store. They treated my iPad issues as if I was at fault once I experienced the last problem. I'm very disappointed—I've been using my iPad for schoolwork, and it's made my life difficult.
