Good shopping & kind staff but poses a MASSIVE SAFETY RISK by having hundreds of people form one big line on the same day at the same time every week (Friday.) Has also gone down A LOT in the last 8 months. Here’s my biggest concerns and why I went from spending $350+/wk to not shopping here anymore.
Fridays need to be more organized and much safer. The system should allow everyone to participate, with people standing near bins and a clear countdown so everyone has a chance to be rewarded. This would encourage more people to attend on Fridays, instead of the same 30-60 regulars who camp out overnight and can have +1’s join them right before opening. Some of these regulars are even staff members, which creates an unfair advantage and favoritism for prime spots.
The current practice of lining up 100+ people at the same time poses a huge safety risk, which is why a lot of people I’ve spoken to avoid Fridays. 3 unarmed security guards will NOT help this situation, and as the store grows the bigger the risk becomes.
Instead, if people were scattered around and the process was more streamlined, it would not only reduce safety hazards but also help attract more consistent, diverse crowds, and discourage overnight camping. It’s a win-win in terms of safety, fairness, and customer retention. Greed will be the end of this store, fixing it sooner than later would be bring in much higher margins. Maybe the first 10 people wouldn’t spend as much but the other 90 people would spend triple to quadruple.
This is constructive criticism & my review will be updated...
Read moreLol, I haven't been here yet, but I need to educate you ppl on these stores! They have crazy discounts ALL YEAR AROUND. On fridays they restock and that's the day for the best deals. If you aren't willing to stand in line to get the best possible deal, then simply don't come on Friday. The ppl who do come on Friday will have a friend or family member hold a spot in line while they take turns sitting in the car. This is 100% fair as we are not robots, and not everyone can stand for 2-3hrs straight without needing a break to sit, eat, or pee. When you get in the store they have ALL their rules posted in big words so the only way for you to be "scammed" is by you ignoring them and taking home something that doesn't work and even then. If u picked a good item that doesn't work, it is STILL worth the $8-$10 you paid! You can even ask the store associates about the can and cannot. If you feel an item may not work! DONT BUY IT! They have deals EVERY WEEK. Come back next week and look for something better. Do not ask for discounts on discounted items as they have $200 + items for a low $8! It will make you look like a bad person, and the regulars are going to remember you, lol. So, grab u some gloves because you will touch a lot of boxes! Have ur google camera ready to learn about products! And go hunt! I am not an employee there, nor am I paid for this review. Just a lvl 8 high tier Google reviewer trying to help the people who are now finding out about this type...
Read moreLeft without buying anything unfortunately. They had a box of light bulbs listed with 3 price tags... two of the stickers showed $5 and one sticker showed $10. I took it to the register and the clerk said it's $10. I said actually I think that's a mistake and showed her the 2 other price tags that showed $5. She said she's not the owner and that she can't sell it for $5. I explained that that's false advertising and I was going to post it because it's just wrong to price something that way and then try to get twice the amount once you get to the point of sale. She then peeled away the $5 stickers and insisted it was $10 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️👎👎👎👎👎
In response, your employee did not offer to call you and she was standoffish to put it mildly. Although from your response, it doesn't sound like there would have been a different outcome. Periodically spotchecking the items on the salesfloor or maybe using a non-generic price sticker could help avoid problems like this in the future. A customer complaint can be seen as a way to address an issue and grow from it...or not.
And of course when someone receives service like this they're obliged to communicate it out just like they should if they receive exemplary service, correct? I wonder if you as an owner of a retail shop secretly would've shared your experience online too based on the level of service you must expect in order to be a successful business.
Best of luck with...
