I had purchased a team associated reflex 14mt from horizon hobby.

Charged the battery and made sure the radio was paired when powered on.

The Rc car seemed fine until adjusting the fine adjustments.

The rc car will not move forward unless above 30 percent trim.

Then it will not move in reverse unless above 50 percent trim.

Calibrated the esc more than a few times to make sure it was not human error.

Received a broken rc car.

The original factory seals were cut and new ones were applied on top, indicating this box was opened before me getting it on Sunday the 1st of dec.

Called horizon hobby and had them state “ we do not support this item, we only sell it. “. This was after waiting over an hour for customer service for each call.

Now I have to deal with team associated. Called them and had to leave a voicemail.

Most likely they will only replace the electronics and I have to fix the car myself.

I want a new working rc car that I paid for.

Long story short they are going to not support the products they sell.

Writing this review for those who do not want to have their money and time wasted.

I will not buy or support horizon hobby anymore. We can only return the item if it is unopened.

How do we know if something is wrong without opening or powering on the unit?

Please go elsewhere as others will value...

Never ever buy anything from them! Their remotes stop working and after that they tell you that they don't sell replacements!?!?! Like the ones for MT28. Yes, you read that right. If your remote does not work, for whatever reason, you will need to by a new toy with new remote (and probably still not gonna be able to use your previous one) And horrible treatment too. To my inquiry about it I was answered simply: "We don't sell remotes separately". No other options mentioned, no response for a second email that I send asking if other remotes would work on this one... Just horrific company, management, manufacturer and experience. Now I even see that they used google to give themselves a five star rating....

I am in love with the 1/28 scale RC buggies and drag cars. We race them here in Iowa. I was able to get a remote from my local Hobby Town store. Only asked for a donation, being it was a spare one someone turned in. A week or so ago, I ask for a couple bushings and they helped me out. Thank you so so much. ALDO is a great guy. Lots of help. I only wish you would sell some parts of the 1/28 scale RC vehicles......
