I don’t usually leave reviews, unless something is really good or really bad. Unfortunately, in this case it was the second one. We came friday night with my girlfriends an hour before closing time, at first we were not told that the kitchen is closing at 9 but just given menus for ayce, by the time we decided what we wanted we were told about the kitchen closing and that we can only order one more time after this one (even though it says that the place is closing at 9:30), if we knew we wouldn’t come here in the first place. But we were so hungry and it was late already, so we decided to order a la carte instead. The music was sooo loud and so obnoxious (think house techno and club pop) , I felt like i am in the club and not in a sushi place. We couldn’t hear each other and after some time we asked to lower it, to which they said “ok” but it didn’t get any better. Our male server was kind and patient but another lady (asian lady with blonde hair, a lead or manager, idk) kept coming to our table, rushing us to order while screaming (maybe she lost her hearing because of the loud music and had to scream now, who knows), we felt stressed because of the music, because she rushed us, and was talking to us in a loud tone. She was also running around the restaurant and talking to other servers very loudly. To be fair, the food was 5/5- tasty, fresh, good looking … no complaints there… but the service and the atmosphere… I didn’t have such a bad experience in years. I think the management should know about this to create more pleasant experience for their guests...
Read moreI'm giving 2 stars because the food was good and the fish was fresh. But the service was horrible so was the atmosphere. When you walk in you are blasted by dance music so loud you have to almost yell to hear anyone talking. We went for the ayce sushi, we start our first round and start slow just to get a feel of how their quality was. Forest round took forever and came all at separate times. We thought ok they are pretty busy so maybe this next round we will make a big order. This next round the food came quickly so we talk dig in but quickly find out we are getting very full due to the break from the left round, so we power through it. Well about 10mins after they say we still have rolls waiting to be made so we tell them just cancel them since they weren't made yet. Well the lady gets mad and throws our paper away, we were hoping to get a small desert to share amongst ourselves for our 3rd round. We then ask and the lady looks at us and says the freezer is broken. broken??????????? We were like umm ok whatever can we get the ticket. They charged us a 18% gratuity since there was 6 of us and would not let us split between ourselves making one of us pay the entire bill. The lady then starts bikering about us as we leave, we assume so due to being pointed at and a few other employees turning...
Read moreWe arrived and they had a full house. There was a stand outside for us to write our name and party size down to wait. There are a few spots to sit down outside until you're called. The place is small inside, so be aware of being close to the next party over. They have the option of a la carte or ordering all you can eat. If you've got a big appetite then all you can eat is worth it. The all you can eat options do come out at half the size of a normal order so order 2 if you want a full roll. We ended up ordering nearly 7 rolls and a handful of appetizers and waddled out of there stuffed to the gills with our party of 3. The service was on point, they make sure to keep your water cup full. The sushi and appetizers came out surprisingly quickly with how full the restaurant was. In the photo you can see 2 orders of the salmon, 2 orders of the yellowtail, 2 orders of the rainbow, and 1 order of two other rolls (I will update if I remember which rolls they are). The miso soup was very flavorful so I ordered it twice. You can never go wrong with an order of edamame 🫛. I'd say my favorites were the Volcano and Kanji rolls. The Kanji is spicy, so be aware if you don't do spicy. The music is very loud, so makes it harder for conversation, but overall a great place and we...
