I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Curry Pizza House, and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff that made me feel right at home.
One of the aspects that truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They were not only attentive but also genuinely interested in ensuring that every customer had a fantastic dining experience. From recommending dishes to promptly refilling drinks, the staff at The Curry Pizza House went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
When it came to the food, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly our orders arrived at the table. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food was served promptly, which is always a plus when you're hungry and excited to try new flavors.
Now, let's talk about the pizzas. The classic pizzas at The Curry Pizza House are truly amazing. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside, while remaining tender and chewy on the inside. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were generous and fresh. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, and I couldn't help but savor every slice.
However, it was the butter chicken that truly won my heart. The flavors were out of this world. The chicken was incredibly tender, and the creamy and aromatic sauce was an absolute delight. The blend of spices was balanced to perfection, creating a harmonious dance of flavors that left me wanting more. It was a true culinary masterpiece.
In addition to the fantastic food, the ambiance of The Curry Pizza House was cozy and inviting. The restaurant had a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends and family.
Overall, my experience at The Curry Pizza House was outstanding. The staff's friendliness and attentiveness, combined with the fast service and incredible food, made it an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're a pizza lover or a fan of Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. Don't forget to try their classic pizzas, but do yourself a favor and indulge in the butter chicken—it's a taste sensation that will leave you...
Read moreI recently ordered from Curry Pizza House in Lake Forest, CA, excited to try something new and unique. We even drove 40 minutes to this location, hoping for a great experience. Unfortunately, what we encountered was far from what we had hoped for.
Upon arrival, we were disappointed to learn that the staff would not allow us to dine on the patio, citing the need to clean up as an excuse since we ordered at 9:30 PM. With no other option, we decided to eat in the parking lot.
We ordered an X-Large half-and-half pizza with a specific set of veggie toppings, as we are vegetarians, and I was really looking forward to enjoying it. However, the pizza we received was completely different—it had chicken toppings instead of the vegetarian toppings we had ordered. This was a significant letdown, as we had been eagerly anticipating the flavors we chose.
When we noticed the mistake before eating, we walked back in to show the issue. Unfortunately, the staff was not polite and only offered two options: a refund or to make a new pizza. This being my first experience with Curry Pizza House, it did not leave a good impression. Pizza flavor was very bland.
The lack of an apology was also disheartening. The staff mentioned that the chef was a 16-year-old boy who had been working long hours, which, while understandable, did not excuse the mistake or the way it was handled. When we finished our pizza in the parking lot around 10:30 PM, the staff was still inside the restaurant, which only added to the frustration.
Overall, the mix-up and the lackluster response have made me hesitant to order from here again. The concept of curry-flavored pizza is intriguing, but the execution and customer service need significant improvement. I hope they work on ensuring accuracy and better handling of customer complaints...
Read moreWe were 2 families. We ordered a $200 worth in pizza and appetizer. The masala chips were good and tandoori meat pizzas were tolerable. The meat pizzas were dry with no sauce but the kids still enjoyed it. Aloo on Aloo chaat tasted good if you picked them off, but its icky on the dry pizza with no flavored sauce. The large pizza that I paid extra to be half and half at $30, was shahi panner and chilli paneer. Neither had any sauce. I really was excited that there was going to be a flavored sauce as their website explains. I also bought a large pizza entire large Chilli Paneer which was also dry with no sauce. I was shocked because Shahi Paneer's signature is to be a tomato and cream based sauce, yet here this had zero. Can you believe we had to throw both pizzas away??No one was willing to eat after one trial slice. The pizzas were dough with dry toppings. One gluten-free Achari Gobi was ordered and the gobi was perfect, but again, completely dry with no sauce. It says white garlic sauce on the menu, but I tell you there was none. Maybe they put so little that it dried up in the oven. It was so gross when its that dry. We picked up pizza at9pm and drove all the way from 20min away.It was our first time ordering from this place. We called the next morning to let them know how we have to throw the pizza away because its so dry. They said sorry, there should have been sauce. They did not offer to even refund one large $30 half and half.SAVE YOUR $. GO TO THE PIZZA PLACES IN CERRITOS and ARTESIA where they are not too cheap to use...
