I can’t say enough good things about Lake Mills Family Dental! I’ve always had a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, but since switching here, my entire outlook has changed.

Dr. Michael and his team are incredibly kind, patient, and professional. From the moment I walk in, I feel genuinely cared for — not rushed or judged. Dr. Michael takes the time to explain everything clearly, checks in throughout each appointment to make sure I’m comfortable, and has such a calm, reassuring presence that makes even the more intimidating procedures feel manageable.

We are so blessed to have found Dr. Thao and Dr. Michael Mehlhoff and all of the staff. We always liked dentists in the past, but once we had children, we learned that going to the dentist was not a pleasant experience and trying to get our children to cooperate was next to impossible. Holy Cow! These people are great!

I always thought getting a root canal was supposed to be a terrible experience. Turns out, it's really not a bad way to spend your morning.

Admittedly, I have a pain allergy. It hurts me. That didn't seem to phase the staff here as they catered to my sissified needs and made my first root canal a painless and downright enjoyable experience.
