Salem Lutheran Church — Local services in Lake Mills

The first gentleman contradicts himself by pretty much saying all are welcome except anyone they vote is out. They should then change their mission statement which is on there website. To include, we have the right to cast out people who we choose. I wonder how Christ would react to that. He accepted everyone, no one was turned away from his love. So how can you say you follow the teachings of Christ love and forgiveness. No I'm not a member of this congregation. I'm a member of anouther ELCA Church that has a proud heritage of excepting everyone, no one is turned away from Gods love. I feel you have wronged not only these two believers in Christ. I am behind this church for not allowing the wedding and willfully pray for those who are close minded to to not respect the vote or scripture.
