Teluwut Grille House & Pub — Local services in Lake Mills

4 of us went out for a birthday dinner. We got there about 4PM. I ordered a steak but had to settle for French fries instead of a baked potato [they don't sell them] or mashed potatoes because they don't make them until 5PM. Am I complaining? No... but I was irritated that they had main entrée items but not a main side order available. The bathroom on the other hand was down-right deplorable for a business that charges the prices for their meals. The urinal was placed appropriately for a man that may stand 6'5". I am only 5'9". The toilet seat looked like it had a sander taken to the inside and outside rims of the seat. DISGUSTING!!! Washed my hands with no soap... It was empty for quite some time, there was not even any spray of soap to come out. Makes me wonder about the staff hygiene... Will we go back? I'll let this posting reach management level and maybe go back in time. Like I said the 4 of us went there and we spent $85.-. That kind of sting will take some...

We were there for lunch. Street parking, no parking lot. Nice atmosphere and a friendly welcome. We were seated given menus and then forgotten about. We finally placed our order and the food arrived in a very reasonable amount of time. We ordered a cheeseburger, Philly cheese steak and teriyaki chicken wings. The cheese steak was nicely done on a very nice toasted hoagie bun and a good au jus dip. The cheeseburger was cooked as requested and seasoned well. Both sandwiches came with fries that were cooked perfectly but seasoned very heavy handed with pepper. The chicken wings were breaded and covered with the teriyaki glaze. They were unexpectedly spicy. We brought it to our waiter's attention and he had them replaced with unbreaded wings in the glaze. They were much better. The waiter apologized he was not aware that the breading they used was spicy. It did not start well but ended okay. We will give it another try. My guests really enjoyed...

Food was tasty, but several persons in our party had incorrect or missing food. We did not know who our server was as several different people stopped at our table though quite infrequently. I had to find someone to get drink refills as well as to get correct food and then our checks. In addition, there is no clear flow, and it was near impossible to know where to go or what to do. I find the idea and history of the restaurant is interesting, but the place needs help. I think the staff would benefit from team meetings to set up for successful business and customer experience, particularly before a high-profile service night such as Velentine's...
