Great staff. Nice pilots. Both pilots are named Ryan, ours had the beard. They were accommodating with my needs and also safety driven.

I had went in the day before to inquire about the flights and also see what type of aircraft it was and how I could shoot photography without shooting through a window. The windows on the helicopter were large and give a nice view almost 190 degrees. They said that the pilot's door is usually off but they might take the other side off for me to shoot openly. I did have to sign a release but that is standard. Then he made sure that I wasn't going to hang out the door with my camera. I assured him that there was no way I was going to do that since I was very anxious to begin with having the door off. What we photographers do to get a shot.

We went on the 21 mile flight which lasted under 15 minutes, probably more like 12. It was quick but worth the cool views from up above the Lake Ozark and Bagnell Dam. I got a beautiful shot of the dam. It cost about $70/each with a minimum of two people on the flight. They do give Military discounts. The $30 flight is only 6 miles so airtime would probably be 4 minutes or so.

They do offer sunset flights if scheduled in advance. They normally close at 7pm. The sunset flight would have been better for us but we already had plans for dinner with friends.

They will take your picture with your camera or phone if you want them to and the pilot will actually look at the camera for the shot instead of focusing on the helicopter, so I thought that was a plus.

We took our son on a tour which was a wonderful experience and, as a local of 35 years, was a new experience and strongly recommended. Beautiful view. The pilot was very helpful and professional, especially with our 2 year old (it was his birthday).

Ever since, he’s been hooked on helicopters (watching videos all night), so we dropped by to buy a little toy they have in the waiting room and the young lady at the front desk gave my son a free toy as a gift. He gave her about the cutest hug I’ve seen to date.

Excellent experience, strongly recommend for folks out of the area, and for folks in the area, suggest the trip to the winery and (strongly) a ride when the water gates are open on the Dam. Would be an amazing view.
