Do not go here or at the 63rd red line if your U-pass is worn out. Ventra K9 personnel will take your card if they think it doesn't belong to you. They confiscated mind yesterday simply because they couldn't see my picture. I presented them with my state ID and my student ID yet they still refused to let me have it back. Worse yet, ventra is so slow that they said it will take five days just to have the card sent to the office, and then who knows how long these idiots need to figure out that the card is actually mine. No one I called was polite nor did they know who to talk to about reimbursement for the money I will have to spend this next week on transit. Essentially I'm going to pay upwards of eighty something dollars because of ventra's stupidity. I'm just saying it would make sense to have the people checking cards carry a scanner or have some method of looking up the account number to match it to a name. If the people that planned this couldn't think of that then they need to all be fired for...

Awful New Build!! So cheap, flimsy and INACCESSIBLE nothing but LCD di$plays that are more confusing than helpful (TRY finding the most popular bus routes: 95, 100, 103...). It's hard to believe [wink, wink] that this much was spent on a building that has: NO escalators, NO artwork, NO warmth. If I were visiting the city and landed here - - please! As a long-time resident of the south side, I wish the CTA and our mayor would have actually bothered to make something we can be proud of. There are rumors that escalators, etc. are on the way - but when?? Think about Millennium Park - @ least there you can find a bathroom, feel welcomed and are guided on your way...like Chicago matters.

EDIT: The former station had ample bicycle racks that were always full - guess how many there are now? Yup. Zero....

Alright if you're just running on to the train. Because the workers clean at that spot so it shouldn't smell bad. The cops are intimidating if you are irritated by thier presence and they are there periodically with dogs but they're pretty passive. They do confisate cards that may belong to other people. Like you cannot use your OWN mothers card to board the train EVEN if you are just a minor trying to go to school and dosent have money. Never buy from the quick convience store they are overpriced and dont mind the solicitors they're ok and just solicit; if you aren't a pretty girl then they'll bug you everyday for...
