Yesterday my friends and I were walking to get something to eat and I decided to double back and grab 3 tacos from this place and although it was not a 1 star experience, I probably will not be back.
Food - The chicken was flavorful but the tacos themselves were disgusting. First they put lettuce on the bottom of the taco to make it appear fuller than it really was, large chunks of iceberg lettuce at that. Then they put some white creamy stuff on the bottom, I'm assuming ranch and I absolutely HATE ranch, it's disgusting so imagine my face when I bit into what should've been taco not a salad wrap. Then the flour tortillas were the fluffy kind so with the lettuce it was soggy so into the trash it went. The rice and beans lacked flavor, thank God for jerk sauce.
Service - The young guy we met as we were walking was nice but the place was empty and we waited at least 20 minutes for some chopped up chicken, lettuce and tomato on a tortilla...why??? It doesn't take long to throw a taco together. Then he forget my beef patty so I waited another 10 minutes for that. Yep by now my friends and I were furious and starving.
Atmosphere - Nice quaint place with reggae playing as you walk across the threshold.
Overall - Will I return, probably not, the wait and that ranch garbage on my taco turned my stomach completely. Uh newsflash....ranch doesn't go on tacos unless you ask the customer and even then put it on the side. I damn near threw up and almost threw the...

A coworker and I were doing work in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. We were greeted by the song Jamming by Bob Markey as soon as we walked in. There were many lunch options on the menu. I ordered the jerk chicken wrap and my coworker got the jerk chicken tacos. Both options were very reasonably priced and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the create your own dinner with jerk salmon, jerk catfish, jasmine rice and yams as well a the veggie patty. The food was excellent, hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and very helpful with assisting me with my selection with it being my first visit. I highly recommend this place. The only reason it didn’t get a 5 star ambience is because it’s only a small take out lobby...
