DTLR — Local services in Lake Township

Customer service is horrible. I called 1 week ago regarding a pair of shoes and was instructed they were 1st come 1st serve. During my call, I was never informed that the store opened 2 hours early. I was notified by another employee at another store they would open early, so I called and indeed they were open. After driving to the store, I was forced to wait in the cold for over 15 minutes. I called once again and they young lady informed me she would open the door when she got there. They employees continued to come to door and see me and my baby waiting outside. When I was allowed to enter at no point did I receive an apology , explanation for making me wait in the cold, nor a thank you for my business. I watch others allowed to enter the store without any troubles directly from there car. Clearly some have special privileges. This will be the last time I ever shop here again. I agree with the other reviews , this location definitely need to work on their customer service. I came in one day . First off it was like 3 employees that stood around talking instead of greeting me when I walked in . It took almost 5 minutes before a young man asked if I needed help . “Yes as a matter a fact I do” I proceeded to buy my shoes and some socks . A few days later I was out of town and discovered my sensor was still on my socks . So of course I came in for them to take it off. I understand the manager had to ask for a receipt which I didn’t have . Cause who expects to return white ones. After I checked my bank statement and confirmed the date of purchase . She just handed me the socks . A nice “sorry for the inconvenience “ could’ve went so far . It’s crazy because I wonder if a white customer would’ve went through the same experience would she have used...

This location is clean and quiet, which is good. But when I got to the counter to pay, the two women there ignored me for about 1 minute. And when I let them know that, I’m ready to pay. The girl there told me to hold up because she didn't want to dirty our stuff with Cheeto dust. She was literally licking her fingers clean because she was sitting on the counter eating chips.
