We were a “test” family for photos. With only knowing our daughter, Lauren and I chatted back and forth about what I was looking for in our family photos and the backdrop. We are an “outdoorsy” family and Fall is my favorite time of the year…. But we were picking a day in May. I sent her some photos of our last family photo shoot, and she picked the perfect spot just blocks from our home because the original place was no longer there. We wanted our dogs in the pictures, but the day of when we arrived the dogs were just too excited and were not behaving. My husband and I took them back home and Lauren started with our teenage daughter, son and his girlfriend. Once we returned we walked up on some pretty fun looking photos of our 2 kids…. Who were laughing WITH one another. She did a phenomenal job finding their personalities and even our sons girlfriend who is usually shy. We spent the next hour laughing and having fun as a family, never mind the awesome photos she was taking while we were goofing off. She managed to re-create some of my favorite photos in the new location, that I can’t even tell you what it means to me. Lauren manages to capture perfect moments especially when you are not paying attention. There were no fake smiles, just tons of belly laughs and true grins...

We used Lauren for our maternity shoot. We wanted to also include our almost 2 year daughter. She is such a shy girl (even with relatives) so I was very nervous about how she would act that day or if she would even participate at all. Lauren was able to make her so comfortable and got her sweet little personality to shine. By the end of the photo shoot my daughter was walking away with Lauren holding her hand like they were best friends! I was amazed at how easily Lauren was able to bond with my daughter. She made the session fun and suggested great poses. The photos turned out so beautiful. I truly loved every single one! Pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend using Lauren Alyssa Photography! Lauren is an amazing photographer! In less than 20 minutes she captured some of the most wonderful photos of my family during our Santa mini session. She is warm and caring and really knows how to get the best out of her clients. Even with a crazy 3 year old and a newborn she was able to capture magic with her camera in no time flat! We have 3 of her photos hanging on our was as canvases. I highly recommend...
