This is a sweet place hidden in the historic Stockyards commercial district on the south side. Where there were cows, now there is candy! Superior Nut & Candy is both a candy shop and a candy factory, so the smells are your first treat. The choices seem endless but you can get custom quantities of many different goodies from the wonderful ladies at the counter. They make some really tasty trail mixes too. TRUCK DRIVERS: When coming from i-55 you can take Ashland Ave to Pershing or 47th street. If you are driving on i-90, once again take Pershing or 47th street to get to this place. Open 6:00am to 5:00pm. They have two docks. Sometimes you load will be in their second building just south-west of the main location. Its the one with large dirt driveway (easy to back in).
