I went to Khol's to make an Amazon return, and since I got a 20 % off coupon on my receipt, I figured I would put it to use. Picked a blanket and a pajama set for wifey and since I didn't have a cart because was not planning to buy anything I put them in my Nordstrom Rack paper bag not to carry them in my hands. Looked for a t-shirt right before going to the cash register, and a young brunette lady comes and asks if it's my bag that was on the floor, to which I confirmed that it was mine. I was about to head to check out at the register because I couldn't find fight size shirt and she says to me I can't keep items in.my bag and she will have to bring me a cart. I said it's necessary and was just leaving, to my surprise she grabs my items and says that I can't have them there and she has to take them with a vsery nasty attitude from the time she engaged . I said that in that case she could take them and put them away because I would not buy them, especially after somebody treated me like that with such a bad attitude. On the way out, I saw a cashier and a gentleman at returns and mentioned that I didn't know who the young lady was, but she needed to learn some customer service skills. At the same time, she walked up nervously and told me I didn't need to worry about that because she's the manager, again with a horrible attitude. At that point, I said she can't act with people like that. She needed to treat customers with respect and asked what her name was. She said it's none of my business what her name is and that people will know who she is. Worst interaction I've ever had with a retail manager, sadly. A manager should be should be an example to other staff and customer relations should be one of their top qualities. I'm definitely never shopping there again and hope she works on her people skills because she has no reason to treat anybody that way, just...
Read moreAmazon returns are easy and quick. The only reason we are giving 2 stars. When we returned our Amazon package, we received a 15% of coupon so I thought I’d shop around a little. I asked one of the floor associates if the coupon applies to clearance and she said yes! Everything except the Carters brand. So I proceed to shop avoiding the Carter’s items. We get to the front and the cashier says, you’re coupon doesn’t apply to any of this and proceeds to pull a sign from a Levi display showing us that theres exemptions. That’s great, however there was no mention of exemptions on the clearance rack on the signs. Very misleading and frustrating when another employee says it applies to everything except one certain brand. I don’t think kohls would miss 15% off a few purchases. Either update signage to ensure all the exemptions are listed or not offer coupons at all. We ended up leaving with anything. As someone who works retail, we would honor the coupon regardless especially if the customer received the coupon in store and after being told by another employee...
Read moreI NEVER write reviews, but after today I’m appalled at how we were treated by the store manager. I went into Kohls today to do a return for a product bought 1 week prior that was expired on the shelf. They wouldn’t accept our return because we didn’t have a paper receipt, but had proof of a credit card bill as well as another worker’s word that they rang us up 1 week ago to buy the product that we didn’t know was expired. Not only were we not given a refund, not given store credit, not helped in the slightest or shown any sense of empathy from the staff, the store manager was beyond rude and degrading to us. Comments such as “I’m not speaking to you” and “I know the policies better than you do”. For something that should’ve been recalled or taken off the shelf earlier, it’s disappointing how we were treated for something we weren’t at fault for. My family and I are done shopping here. Make it a priority to serve your...
