Bobbers is an absolute delight! Nestled in the heart of Lake Zurich, this restaurant offers a stunning lakeside view that adds a touch of serenity to your dining experience. I recently visited Bobbers and had an exceptional time, prompting me to share this glowing 5-star review.
First and foremost, the food is simply outstanding. I had the pleasure of indulging in their Jack Daniel's (bacon BBQ) cheeseburger, and it was an absolute treat for my taste buds. The combination of succulent bacon, tangy BBQ sauce, and perfectly melted cheese created a symphony of flavors that left me wanting more. Additionally, the BBQ Chicken Flatbread was equally impressive, with its tender chicken, delectable barbecue sauce, and an array of perfectly paired toppings.
Aside from the fantastic cuisine, Bobbers boasts a delightful lakeside ambiance that truly elevates the dining experience. The outdoor seating provides a picturesque setting, allowing guests to enjoy their meal while gazing at the tranquil waters of Lake Zurich. It's the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, and soak up the warm summer breeze.
The service at Bobbers deserves special recognition. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived until we left, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. It's refreshing to encounter such genuine hospitality in a restaurant.
Whether you're looking for a casual lunch or a memorable dinner, Bobbers is an excellent choice. The combination of fantastic food, breathtaking views, and superb service make it an ideal spot to gather with friends and enjoy the summer months. I can't recommend it highly enough.
In conclusion, if you're seeking a lakeside gem that offers delectable dishes, a charming atmosphere, and top-notch service, look no further than Bobbers in Lake Zurich. It's a hidden treasure that deserves every bit of praise it receives. Trust me, you won't be...
Read moreThis was our first and last time ever going to this restaurant. The food selection was average but it was served to us hot. Not a very original menu. So kinda meh. Service was also average. They were not very busy since we ate there ate 1:20 on a Friday. There were plenty of staff hanging out around the bar. But the restaurant was filthy. We were bombed by flies the whole time we were eating. We were told to sit wherever we wanted to but we had a hard time finding a table to sit at because none of them were clean. There were crumbs and wet drink rings on all of the tables. It was too cold and windy to sit outside. When you looked around, you could see all of the maintenance things that needed to be repaired. There were folded up napkins under the table legs to keep the tables from rocking. The waitress station in the SW corner of the restaurant looked like it was never used. It was thick with dust and trash on it. The table we did find to sit at wasn’t clean but it was the best we could find. When we were leaving, we noticed one of the posts just outside of the exit door and to your right was coming out of the ground and loose. The place looked like a maintenance person could walk around and just do random repairs of various things in the restaurant. It was so disappointing to visit a restaurant that close to the lake and experience what we experienced. The number of flies in the restaurant should have been a clue to turn around and walk out. The menus had some kind of dried sauce on them. Gross! We won’t be back. We’d rather spend our $ in a restaurant where the employees seemed to care about its cleanliness and maintenance. Lunch for 2 people came to $42. No alcohol was purchased, just 1 glass of tea and 1 glass of water and 2 lunch meals with no appetizers. Seemed really expensive for the food and...
Read moreThis is our favorite warm weather hangout. They have a nice size outdoor dining area, but are light on the parking. The lot fills up fast and you have to park on a side street.
The food is typical bar food, but made really well. I've gone with family and friends and can easily state we've had virtually everything on the menu. The wings are good, the burger is good, the salads (yes, salads) are good, and the appetizers are good. My favorite is the chicken sandwich which I get grilled either buffalo style or with their creamy pesto (this is my fave with the other a close second). They have a wide assortment of adult drinks and their specialty offerings do not disappoint. And I can't get enough of the lake. It's a great view and a great place for a night out with friends.
UPDATE I've been holding off on reviewing this place as it is one of mine and my wife's favorite places to go in the warmer months. We love their outdoor seating area. You can look across the street and see the lake and it's just peaceful and tranquil (yes they basically mean the same thing, but so what. This is my review). They play great music and it's not too loud (so many restaurants screw this up - turn down your damn music!). Anyway, the seating area is great, you can sit in the shade of an umbrella or enjoy the sun full blast.
There isn't enough parking, but so what, the food is good, drinks are plentiful, and ambiance is great! We come just ourselves or with friends. We love it!
I guess I should talk about the food. It's great and nothing fancy. Which is why we love it. You can come as you are and enjoy a good sandwich, burger, appetizer, wings, whatever...it's all good. Tre drinks are fun and great too. They don't under or over pour and are perfect for lazing the day away enjoying good company at...
