DO NOT HIRE—WILL ENTER HOME AND PURPOSEFULLY DAMAGE CABINETS WHEN NO ONE IS THERE AND BLAME YOU FOR THE DAMAGE DESPITE HAVING PHOTOGRAPHIC EVIDENCE OF NO DAMAGE PRIOR TO THEIR ENTRY

I would not recommend working with this company. After installation, I personally inspected my cabinets and have photo evidence showing they were in perfect condition. Later, without my knowledge or permission, a representative entered my property, removed cabinets, and eventually returned them with significant damage. The company has tried to claim they were “found” that way, which directly contradicts my documentation despite providing evidence that shows this.

On top of that, the damaged pieces were held from me and then returned still broken, while I was pressured to make full payment. Instead of taking responsibility, the company continues to avoid addressing how the damage occurred under their care.

Construction projects are done in phases, and unfinished work was being used as an excuse to deflect from the real issue — the mishandling and damage of my cabinets.

I have to say we are so impressed with James River Kitchens!! Brad and Caleb have been fantastic to work with planning our kitchen project. We started planning our kitchen renovation less than a month ago. I looked at several other contractors, but James River Kitchens are full service one stop from beginning design to install of your new kitchen. Brad has been great to work with he has a good eye for design and a wealth of knowledge. He sent my quote very quickly. We now have our plan, cabinets and stone counter tops picked out.
