The past couple of week's have been very trying for many of us in Lake count due to the recent flooding. To add anything more to the stress of flood clean up, doesn't seem possible. However, this was just the case for my husband and me.
Last night I made my second trip out to the garage for the evening to get some food from our upright freezer only to find that it was no longer working. I attempted to call the manufacturer's customer service and was on hold for over 10 minutes before switching over to their online chat feature. The guidance given did not fix my issue, so I called the licensed repair business my manufacturer referred me to and left messages. I took a leap of faith and called Karl's and got Denise. She was so empathetic to all my husband and I had been through over the past week and half. She placed me on hold and advised that they had a similar size freezer left in their store. She placed me on hold once more and confirmed a delivery could be done yet that evening by Nick and Tobie. Within about 30 minutes, the new freezer was in my garage saving us a great deal of money on spoiled food.
At the time to say they went above and beyond, was an understatement. My call to Karl's was at 6:36 PM. This means all of this great service occurred after their hours of operation. I will forever be grateful to Denise, Nick and Tobie for being my heroes on a day that was filled with more bad news than just a broken freezer.
With all of the destruction that occurred in the Madison area with the recent flooding, I can only predict that Karl's has been very busy delivering new appliances to flood victims. To know that they are there to help those of us in need during what I can only imagine has been a very hectic time for their business, is a true blessing. Read moreI am pleased! I bought a LG refrigerator for my girlfriend Chris and it was somewhat of a surprise! I was told that delivery would be between 1-3, at 1:12pm the Karl’s team arrived! They came in and looked at the home and old refrigerator and then Brandon Julio was the man in charge! Julio and Adam worked well together, they were careful and professional! In and out in an hour and 20 minutes! They were kind enough to take the door closures off the storm door to get the old out and the new in! Amazing the amount of work this delivery team did to install a new refrigerator! Old refrigerator doors had to come off Old refrigerator water filter and they noticed the pan on the bottom of filter was full of water. Julio barked orders for paper towels and returned to taking care of business! Water had to be shut off and Adam was there to make sure it was done properly! In comes the new, all three doors had to be taken off and put back together, while Julio was putting doors on, Adam was out front putting the old refrigerator in truck to take to the recycle bin! In town delivery for $60.00 a no brainer for this! Thank you for saving me the frustration and headache, thank you Julio and Adam for the laughs and allowing me to get to know you better! Bought a new commercial grade washer a year ago. 11 months in it starts making a horrible noise we call for service and we're "put on the list" we call back a week later and then for "put on the list" for Sioux Falls. Weeks go by and nothing. We have a washer that we were only able to use for 11 months that cost $1500+ extra for the great 7 year warranty. Called again 2 weeks ago again nothing. Last week service calls and says they can come right now my husband leaves work. Nothing service can do the bottom bearing went out and they will have to order it, should be here next week. We even bring the washer to Karl's in Madison to make it easier to get repaired because they are running short staffed. Call a week later and they have no idea what we are talking about not sure what parts. Yet another week has gone by and nothing. I have been hauling laundry for a house of 11 to the laundry mat for almost 2 months with no end in sight! Edit to add+++ We are using a popsicle stick to run our washer because they don't know how to order the right parts! And the dryer we bought from them doesn't heat! No response EVER!
