Wow!!!! I was totally impressed and amazed with the INTEGRITY and promtness with Alex at PC Tech. I came in on a Saturday close to closing, and he didn't rush me out or hurry me up. He explained the issues I was having with my MacBook Pro and with no hesitation he explained the process and what it needed to get up and running at optimum again!!! He called me a couple hours later and said "your computer is done, can you come get it, I won't be at shop on Monday and I want you to have it before I leave". What.....?who does that? Stays late and gets my machine up and running in lightning speed!!! ALEX AT PC TECH, that's who. Oh and the prices were cheaper than I had intended and what I know big box stores to be. Alex greeted me with Great service!!!, kindness, Great products, and Flash Gordon like speed with the repair. I will surely go back to ALEX PC TECH with any of my tech needs in the future, and I promise, you won't be dissapootend or dissatisfied.
When I came to pick up my machine, he walked me through the entire back up process and explained his work again and Stayed with me in his shop till I was comfortable to continue the back up and retrieval of all my goodies I had on my machine. He didn't push unnecessary software or hardware. Just sold me what was needed. Alex at PC TECH went through the cost and what everything including his labor was going to be upfront. Read moreWent in to get my PC examined because it was acting up. He had it for a couple of days which is fine but originally reported that there was nothing wrong with it. He called and asked if I could come in, so I did. He wanted me to come behind the counter so I could sign into my steam to see if the issue still persists. I had my 4 year old son with me so I held his hand and started walking back as I obliged. He yelled at me and told me that my son wasn't allowed behind the counter unless I held him. I wasn't able to sign in because I was holding a 35 lb child and trying to sign in with one hand. He told me to take the PC back home. I did, the problem still happened so I brought it back. He had it a few more days and eventually told me that it was a problem with my CPU or Motherboard. He couldn't find the parts online so I went and bought them and brought them in. I was able to find a bundle at micro center that included 3/4 things he requested and since it was a bundle it was a lot cheaper. He then scolded me about buying the wrong brand of motherboard but he would put it in anyways. I get a call a few days later stating that he injured himself and he wasn't able to complete the order. He suggested I go to someone else, explain the situation so I don't have to spend the money for another diagnostic test, so I did. It turns out, the problem that he "figured out" wasn't the problem at all. It was the graphics card. I spent hundreds of dollars for literally no reason! Also, his hours aren't correct. Read moreI want to start by saying I cant say/express enough about how great these guys are, specifically my man Gino. I want to say first working with Gino was a relief off my mind, even after losing my games. Computers and electronics might be his job but it was easy to see they're definently a passion and hobby aswell and he takes it very serious. He was great to work with though because he wasn't there to just sell me new parts, we talked about what I did with my setup, we talked about gaming, and we talked about builds he's done. It was great to just discuss spec's and have good conversation with a down to earth guy like him! At 3:30pm today I brought my laptop in after a weekend of not being able to game. I got hit with the blue screen. I was pretty sure from the code that came up I had lost my hard drive and Gino confirmed the bad news. He said he had a few thing to wrap up on his latest project and he would get to work on my rig, and that it should be ready the next day. Great! One project off my mind and I can pick it up after work I figured. I got a call an hour later saying he had everything setup and ready to go and I could pick it up by 5pm. Man was that awesome! I got in and he had me look through and confirm I had the basics back and that I was good to go. Seriously consider working with these guys if you're having electronic issues.
