Such great selection of books. Very intimate and cozy with cute decor. Every corner filled to the brim with books, stickers and other goodies. Love the people working there as they were very friendly and pointed out a couple things such as: -spend $75 get a free âDiscover Authorâ section pointed out which ones were local authors -pointed out which ones were signed! They had a whole bookshelf full.
They had mentioned that they work with some authors directly and so they get books signed and some even had inserts and bookmarks that come with the book.
Their selection obviously with the name is focused on romance books and BOY DO THEY HAVE A SELECTION! Theyâve got range from the popular authors to the small indie authors.
They had âBlind date with a bookâ for $30 which came with multiple stickers, highlighter and a set of sticky notes.
Ended up with 5 books and will for sure be back again. They also have a rewards program anyone can join. Looking forward to more shopping with them...
Read moreI saw Flutter Romance was opening in Austin and it was on my radar from the moment I saw the announcement. I was able to sneak away on a Friday afternoon and it was such a lovely experience.
The store is intimate and has countless romance books -- so many authors! I consider myself an avid reader, a book fanatic constantly on the search to learn about new authors on Goodreads, but this store contained so many books I had to constantly look up while browsing! (such a good thing) I was also able to find so many that I haven't been able to put my hands on in a Barnes & Noble or Half Price Books.
There's merchandise that's adorable and the "blind date with a book" section is cuter than I've seen in any other store!
It's a hike from where I live in Pflugerville, but it's definitely a place I'll go back to and I'll take all my reader friends along so they can experience...
Read moreAs someone whoâs read romance for nearly 30 years, Flutter made me feel SEEN. Their inventory ranges from the âbig BookTokâ titles to âbig in romanceâ titles to the obscure things so many of us are obsessed with. They had books that are the kind of spicy we hope someone means when they say spicy before they show you a closed door romance (no hate to closed door romance!). They had LGBTQ+ books and books in Spanish and graphic novels and so. many. genres. represented. I could have cleared my bank account picking out every book I had my eye on. And then the knickknacks and the shirts and the merch! All of it was so, so good. And the workers were chatting about books they were currently reading while they were working- itâs literally a romance book loverâs...
