I had lunch today at Savores and I am very sorry I did. We were seated by a woman who said she was the manager. We waited a good 5 minutes for the waitress. My friend and I both ordered the chicken arepas. My arepa was a bit soggy and there was not enough cilantro sauce. The chicken was sliced into pieces, flavorless, but edible. My friend was halfway through her meal and discovered her chicken was very undercooked. Still raw in places. When the waitress returned I informed her of the raw chicken and the half eaten sandwich. She said she would tell the chef. I also asked for the check at this time as we were ready to leave. I paid the check and tipped her. Then I asked to see the manager because I was upset that the arepa had not been deducted from the check. The man who approached our table was not the same manager that seated us. There was definitely a language barrier, but I explained to him what had happened and said that nothing had been deducted from the check. He also said he would tell the chef and walked away. At this point I got up and found the original manager and explained that we had uncooked chicken in our lunch and both the waitress and manager had done nothing to remedy the situation. She then informed me that the man who came to our table was the owner and that she was the manager. She also did nothing and none of them were apologetic in any way. I’ve been a restaurant manager. When this sort of thing happens, you either bring a new sandwich, take the sandwich off the check, or offer a gift card for a return visit. At the very least you apologize. We gave them three opportunities to remedy the situation. Strike three. We will not be back and we will also tell all our friends, family members, and you good people,...

Savores Grill House – A Flavorful Journey Worth Repeating

Savores Grill House is a hidden gem that delivers not just a meal, but a culinary experience that awakens both memory and palate. From the very first bite, it’s clear that authenticity and care are at the heart of this establishment.

The Azada Bowl is a standout dish — the rice and beans are 100% authentic, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The beans, in particular, deserve special mention for their richness and depth. The soup is crafted with comforting precision, delivering exactly what one hopes for in every spoonful. Though I’m not from their country of origin, the flavors transported me straight back to Puerto Rico, a testament to the restaurant’s ability to connect through food.

For those craving something more familiar, the burger was excellent, cooked with balance and quality ingredients. To complement the meal, the passion fruit drink was exceptional — refreshing, vibrant, and unforgettable.

The atmosphere is equally inviting. With plenty of parking and the option to sit outside under a cooling fan, the tropical ambiance enhances the dining experience, making it feel both comfortable and refreshing.

Savores Grill House has not only earned my respect but also my promise to return. A place where flavor meets memory, and where authenticity shines through every...

This was our second time visiting this restaurant. The first time, the service was very slow but the food was good, so we decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing.

My husband and I spent $63 for two people. We ordered the combo for two and two empanadas. The empanadas were delicious, fresh and flavorfuland the yuca frita was also very good. The tostones, however, were overcooked, and while the salad was good, the steak seemed like it had been reheated or kept under a heat lamp. By the time it reached our table, it was only warm and quickly became cold, which made it hard to enjoy.

The water tasted off (almost like peroxide), though the server did bring me a bottled water when I mentioned it, which I appreciated. However, service overall was lacking, our server disappeared into the kitchen for long periods, making it difficult to ask questions or order drinks.

The ambiance is nice, with shaded outdoor seating, but for the price and quality of service, the experience did not meet expectations. I hope they can improve consistency in their food and service because the place...

I recently had my first experience at this Venezuelan restaurant, drawn in by its inviting wrap-around patio and outdoor seating. We chose to dine outside to enjoy the ambiance, though unfortunately, mosquitoes were a notable distraction. Implementing a solution to deter them would significantly enhance the outdoor dining experience. The restaurant features a small stage, and our server mentioned they host live music on weekends, alternating between country and Spanish genres, which sounds like a nice addition. As for the food, I found it to be satisfactory but it didn't quite meet my expectations. I am open to giving this establishment another try in the future if an opportunity arises. Overall, it presents a pleasant setting with potential for improvement.
