The store has very little connection to the store in howell. It may have been started by the same person. But the manager of this store, Lakewood South, has a completely different business model. They both sell used sefarim. That's about all they have in common. The one in south Lakewood has rude, half witt people working there. They're not very helpful, and if you ask them a question or two they get mad at you. The store in Howell looks through their books before they put them on the shelves and they have a sticker on the back that says if there's something wrong with it. This store on the other hand has no such thing. You have to look through every single book you buy there. BE CAREFUL, any book that is there is there for a reason. People don't usually give away their good books. There's always something wrong, at least most of the time. They also have a policy that you only have 24 hours to return. And it's only for store credit. So if you go home in 3 days later you start looking through the book you bought and find that it's missing pages you're out of luck. They are also more expensive than the store in Howell by 20 to 40%.
So you have to make the difficult choice is it worth saving 2 to 4 dollars but spend hours looking through each book, or is it better to go to Torah treasures spend one tenth of the time and come out with something you know is good and as a 90-day...
