I just visited the Denver Mattress off 6th Ave. I was hoping to run in and pick up a pillow my wife had ordered from them. They had contacted her to let her know it was ready to pick up. I was running errands after we had just returned from an end of Summer vacation. This included picking up our dog from the dog sitter and picking up groceries. I didnāt want to leave any of these things in the back of my car on a 90+ day, but I figured it would not take long to run in and get the pillow that was sitting there waiting to be picked up. I walked in and within a minute, a young man greeted me and looked up the order in the computer. He verified it was there and ready to be picked up, but he explained he was new and in training, therefore unable to walk back and get it for me. I indicated I understood and he assured me he would send another employee to get the pillow. There were only two other salesmen on the floor and they were each busy with customers. I get it. So I stood around for about 15 minutes, during which time no one said anything to me. At this point, I figured they had forgotten about me, so I politely said to the gentleman who originally helped me that I would come back at a better time. He was on the phone, but heās smiled and nodded at me. As I started walking out, one of the other salesmen, possibly noticing something was wrong, appeared to snap into action. He asked what the issue was and I politely explained I was simply trying to pick up a pillow that had already been purchased. He seemed to shrug his shoulders and in an exasperated tone said, āOk, well weāre all doing somethingā¦ā He didnāt move a muscle to help get my pillow. I felt as though he was implying that I was the one being rude and unreasonable. So again, I merely said, āIāll come back.ā I get that a 1 star rating may seem vindictive, but in all honesty, I feel that I witnessed an extreme lack of customer service sensibility. This bed is just awesome, and we ended up purchasing it! In the process, I had mentioned to David the Purple we had purchased 4 years ago had developed a ācraterā, which became very bothersome and it stopped me from flipping the mattress the way they advise, due to not being able to sleep on the side of the bed where the crater was. I had looked at the Purple website, and their official warranty was only for 2 years! I spent $4k on this bed with accessories. I thought I was out of luck, so typical these days right?? David said to send him pictures of the hole and he might be able to use the Denver Mattress 10 year warranty to get a new bed. 2 hours after I sent them to him, he called and said āYouāre getting a brand new bed!ā Iām actually getting a better bed than my original, and they are delivering it and taking the damaged one away!! David and Ryan at Denver Mattress in Lakewood, Co are phenomenal!! They were both such a pleasure to do business with, and just super funny, and really listened to everything we had to say! Let me tell you: my husband is not the easiest to please, heās extremely skeptical and always notices inconsistencies and the big BS alerts. Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience has been nothing short of amazing! I worked with Mitch and he did an awesome job recommending different options based on what I told him we were looking for. He also took the time to help me find what would give me the most alignment and comfort. We ended up being really happy with the mattress we chose but almost instantly regretted getting a split king. The split down the middle was more noticeable than we thought it would be. This is where Denver mattress and Mitch really shines! I would have expected a hassle to exchange our mattress, sheets and mattress protector, but no! Other than having to wait 30 days before requesting an exchange, this was a very smooth process (and honestly, I understand the 30 day policy). At 30 days, Mitch reached out to see how the new mattress was working out and opened the door to start the exchange. We started that process on a Thursday and the next Tuesday our new mattress was delivered. Super easy, no hassle and I even got a refund because the king mattress was cheaper than the split king. Exchanging the sheets and mattress protector was also easy! Huge kudos to Mitch and Denver mattress! 10/10 would recommend...
