6 and 40 Brewery, located at 883 Parfet St. Unit J in Lakewood, Colorado, is a family-owned, car-themed brewery that offers a delightful selection of handcrafted ales and seltzers.

The taproom’s classic 1960s auto and muscle car decor creates a cozy and unique atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both car enthusiasts and beer lovers.

Their diverse beer lineup caters to a wide range of tastes.

For those who appreciate robust flavors, the “300KPH Baltic Porter” (6.9% ABV) and the “Badillac Oatmeal Stout” (6.0% ABV) are excellent choices.

If you prefer lighter options, the “Mow-bi Lawn Kenobi Kolsch” (6.4% ABV) and the “55 Speedster Munich Helles” (5.4% ABV) are refreshing and satisfying.

The brewery’s commitment to quality and creativity is evident in each pour, and their friendly staff enhances the overall experience.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, 6 and 40 Brewery is a must-visit destination for a memorable craft beer experience...

I've been waiting for forever for a brewery to open within walking distance of my house, and as luck would have it, 6&40 is not only close, but it's a perfect reflection of the soul of north Lakewood! The beer is good, and that makes sense since it's right next to Tom's brewshop and owned by the same Tom that owns the brewshop. 6&40 brewery has a vintage car theme, which brings me to my only word of caution, if you take your vintage car there to show it off to other motorheads (and I hope you do!), turn into the parking lot directly from Quail to the west! The south entrance to the parking lot has potholes big enough to swallow a FedEx truck and the north entrance is a hillbilly stunt-ramp. I'm not saying it's a Jeep trail or anything, but if you're rolling on wire-spokes or laid your own paint, you'll want to take the smooth path in, is all. I'm so glad this brewery is here, I hope it's so successful that it...

Seriously great beer in a little retro-style location tucked away next to the connected brew shop. As a foodie and fermentation geek doing a lot of coast-to-coast traveling, I don't leave 5 star reviews unless a place REALLY impressed me. This beer did just that. We tried 3 different brews, and my friend (also a foodie with a rich background in fine coffee and beer) and I were blown away by all 3 of them. The brewmaster really knows what he's doing. Flavors are complex yet all beautifully rounded, coming together uniquely and beautifully! Will be back to this humble place to try some more...

Holy hell, what a find! 🍻 Tucked away in an industrial complex, you must try these beers. The IPA was a standout—comparable to some of the best in Portland, Maine. 🍺 Kudos to this talented team for crafting such exceptional brews! Side note: Bingo was starting just as we were leaving, and we wish we could’ve stayed to join the fun. If you’re in town, don’t miss it—this team deserves all the love and support!

Loved the retro feel and all of the auto & garage memorabilia. We had a great server...knowledgeable about the beers and even the brewery industry in general. One of the owners popped in to talk about two new releases and the festivities planned for their 3 year celebration. Fun. Will definitely visit again.
