I have taken my children here multiple times before Covid19 and now that they are only allowing small numbers of people per reservation they have chosen not to allow the sprinklers in the kids swim area to turn on at all in the morning in order to cater to the elderly people who like to swim laps in silence. This is unfortunate for me and my family because for one thing; we pay a lot more than the elderly people to go swimming, secondly my kids nap all afternoon so there is no way we could wait and go in the afternoon. It makes me so sad because I love that pool. It is unlikely that we will be returning to this pool anytime soon unless this changes.
I am however grateful the manager allowed us to play in the sprinklers for the last 15 minutes because the elderly people left but it still is unfortunate that we paid full price to use the facility and weren’t told that all of the sprinklers wouldn’t be available...
Read moreWe just visited the pool here, which is nice and warm and there's a fun slide and nice water features in the shallow part. It's a little on the smaller side, compared to some of the other pools in the area, and there's no lap pool at this center. The locker room is the main reason I deducted a star. There are 2 "private" gender-neutral changing rooms, which I think is awesome! But everything in the regular locker room is just a little cramped--the lockers are super skinny, the showers are small, especially considering that this is a pool primarily for families (think parent trying to shower with young child (ren) in a tiny stall). And overall, the showers and floor weren't especially clean (which I understand is hard with lots of people using them during open swim). I'm sure we'll be back; it just might not be our first...
Read moreComing to this gym in the morning is usually dreadful because I have to interact with the rude lady at the desk named Kelly. I make sure my kids and I have our rec cards to scan in so we will not have to talk to Kelly but she still finds a way to weasel her way into my morning with the rudest approaches. She doesn't even care about being rude in front of my kids and she's kind of a running joke with my family when we go to the gym we usually say "Let's see if the mean old lady will actually be nice today". It's sad we have to think of her and this gym like that but it helps us tolerate Kelly's routine rude behavior. I hope you have a better...
