I'm telling on myself here, I went to golf and I didn't have pockets but had one of those massive wallets. Being a trusting person, I asked the guy at the desk to hold it. When I finished I came to get my wallet and it was wide open, both zippers. My ID and checkbook were still there, I think some cash was missing but not all of it but i couldnt be certain of my memory so i decided to say nothing. Less than a week later my credit company tells me my credit is being ran because there is a huge purchase in process, more than $10,000. There was suspicious activity in my bank account and I acted quickly by shutting down all of my bank accounts. I terminated all of it in the nic of time my dad told me but i was almost a victim of major financial crime. He still has pictures of my ID, likely, and I worry for my identity. My guess is he handed it back to me all open because I caught him in the act. I was so caught off guard by my open wallet, I didn't know what to do...so I didn't confront him in the moment, I wish I had. He's young, between 20 and 28, dark hair maybe...certainly not white or black or brown skinned, but I couldn't pin his race, a little lighter, I have forgotten much of how he looked and might not be able to identify him now but he tried to drain me for more than I had. I'm never trusting a stranger again with my wallet, looking back it was very dumb of me to do in the first place but him taking advantage of me like that is unacceptable. I was stressed for a long time during and after the process of trying to stop him...this is a big deal. Lesson learned, I just hope he got fired, but if not, watch out. The golfing sorta sucked too. It wasn't very well kept, some mechanical things were broken and we had to skip holes, things were flawed to the point of the ball being unable to score, rocks and warped wood, branches, leaves, corners of the green peeling up. The flags in every hole were either bent or leaning so it's impossible to get the ball in the hole unless you take it out. On all of the holes, the flag was majorly inconvenient because people were getting frustrated and throwing them. There's 3 courses but you only pay for and can play one which goes quickly! Poor quality course, poor upkeep, poor staff. I am definitely...
Read moreWe got there around 7:45 and bought the unlimited play. We were almost done with the First round when the guy working came out and asked if we needed to use the bathrooms before he locked it up for the night. It was around 8:30, and he had also shut off the lights inside, so we asked him if we were still going to be able to pick out a pumpkin. He said, sure but we’ll be closing in about 45 mins. That would’ve been at 9:15, but the website says they close at 10. We were kind of confused, but finished our round, then went to get another ball for another round. He then said he’d be giving us a 10 min warning soon... While we were playing (we weren’t the only ones) he turned off the music and lights, and was out in his truck in the parking lot... about 10 mins later he comes outside and very quietly yells about the 10 min warning. We then go inside to pick out a pumpkin, and we turn on the lights, but he turned them back off on us! So we picked out a pumpkin in the dark, and left. Then he had the gate almost closed on us, so we had to move it to get out with our pumpkins. We got in our car at 9:05... The other people that had been playing were complaining that let them buy a round, but couldn’t even finish it! Very unprofessional. Very disappointed. Went last year as well, but won’t be going back. Customer service is everything, and this guy...
Read moreThis is honestly the most terrible mini golf course we've ever played at. We had a Groupon and we had to laugh at how poorly built several of these holes were. There were even two holes that had absolutely no green and no features - it was just a concrete hole in place of where the actual course should have been. Anything with a ramp was absolutely useless; we'd hit the ball and the ramps weren't aligned with the ground and/or there was a concrete chunk jutting out before the ramp, so it was pretty impossible for the ball to even make its way onto the ramp. Several of the courses were on uneven ground, so no matter where you hit the ball, it would always end up in the same spot. There were also several holes that looked like they had a bunch of gravel rocks on the course, and the builders/owners chose to place the green carpet right over them. It seemed the mini golf course we were playing was under construction, from head to toe. I'm not sure what the other courses looked like, but I would absolutely avoid the mountain course. Our experience wasn't worth...
