Grant County Fair - Lancaster, Wisconsin — Local services in Lancaster

We usually go to the fair every day just to meet up with people. This year we went for about two hours. No decent entertainment. Surrounding county fairs charge admission fees which include admission to grandstand events also. Grant county finds that admission needs to be charged for admission into the fair plus the grandstand events. Way too pricey. There were only a few vendors for food and they were all pricey. Money hungry, you lose your ticket they will tell you you’re a thief. Man that runs it is on some sort of power trip. We love this fair, but this year has been so bad. Even if you have the fair workers vouch for you, they get threatened their jobs. And you get the cops called and recorded all the way out of the grounds. Harassment at its finest. The smallest fair I have ever been to. For 2 adults that would want to spend the day there is not much going on for them. Tons of rides for the children. No teen to adult games there. No games at all. Very few vendors selling food, souvenirs, clothing. For the admission you have to pay to get in not worth it. Then you have to pay again to watch the grand stand event. If you like truck and tractor pulls that is worth it. Overall it's a great place to take your child or children...
