I sent four items in to get repaired, I received the phone call about a month after I shipped them off and the lady on the other end of the line told me that two of the items would be no charge and the other two would be slightly over my budget. So I went ahead and approved the repairs because they were not over by much.
Appears to be all good, couple days later they show up at my house.
I did find one of the drills in a bag in pieces, and I wasn't exactly sure what that was about, I called her back and spoke with her and she explained to me that one of them was scrapped and there was a no charge for one item and I paid for repairs on the other two. No big deal, she probably meant to tell me they were scrapped but on the phone she told me there was a no charge for two of the items. Not too big of a deal, it was an older drill but it is what it is.
But the reason I'm writing this review is because she said that her best technician was the one who made these repairs and if he feels they are going to cost more to repair than buy a new that he won't make the repairs because he certainly wants to do what's best for the customer and I respect that, but as I look at my jigsaw that was sent in for repair.... It was one of the ones that was no charge, it was not even fixed.
I specifically wrote all the information about what had happened about the jaw breaking on the jigsaw which holds the blade in place. But as I'm looking at it now, it still has one broken jaw that is completely missing.
I guess this was the no charge repair tool she told me about, which makes sense because there was no repair made. I really wish they would have looked at the notes I attached outlining the broken jaw.
I know for a fact that half of the jaw is missing because I watched it fall out when I was cutting three quarter inch birch, and I can also compare it to my other jigsaw that I had to buy to get this job finished. Half of the jaw will not hold the blade in place when it's actually reciprocating up and down. If it's not actually cutting something it will hold the blade in but not when you put it to use.
All in all I'm happy that they repaired one of my impacts and one of my hammer drills, just wish they would have followed through with the jigsaw because I still have a broken jigsaw after I paid shipping to send it...

Read moreI don’t really leave reviews but in this case I feel it absolutely necessary. The service was so excellent here that it reminded me of the old days. Everyone was so friendly and kind that I thought there was going to be some catch. Nope, true friendly and genuine. They also had my air compressor fixed and back to me in one day. Thanks Makita...
