So I went to home store and bought another. Decided I'd look online to see about repair and how easy or difficult that might be with Makita. Right there on Makita website, option to create a repair. Within minutes I had a FedEx label. Dropped it off at FedEx late on a Monday. Got it back today on Thursday...four days later. Not only did Makita repair my drill, they paid for shipping both ways and didn't charge me for the repair...in FOUR DAYS.
UNBELIEVABLE in today's world that a company is this efficient and willing to stand behind their products. I already have a garage full of Makita products and that's the way it will always be now.
