Medline Industries — Local services in Lancaster

My delivery appointment was for 6:30 am. I arrived at 6:15 am, checked in, and was assigned a dock door. At 9:30 am, after three hours of waiting, I called receiving to remind them that I was here. At 10:15 am, one of their guys sauntered out and put an airline lock on my trailer, but it’s now 10:45 am and nothing has been unloaded yet.

Edit: they finished at noon, 5 1/2 hours later.

New edit a year later: Well, they did better this time, I arrived at 5:30 am and am unloaded and ready to leave at 7:15 am. I’ll change my review from one...

For future reference, 0430 appointment doesn't mean anything to these people. Msg said to check in at door 23, no one showed up there until 0500, after I've been standing there for half an hour. Then they gave me a dock that has a trailer already in it so now I have to continue to wait until their yard dog gets around to moving it. Oh, but, they have a sign on the door that they are strictly by appointment and if you're late you will have to reschedule. It's an hour after my appointment and I'm still...

Stopped here today with a couple pallets, last stop of a multi stop load and yes I was a bit early but the receiver clerk said "that's not my job that's second shift" so I had to sit on the load for 8 hours which bothers me because the place was super slow also. I know good employees are hard to find but damn. Bad load, bad people...
