To start this review a little info. I have been into a few jewelers in the past, to get a watch battery replaced or some work on a necklace never to make a big purchase. I have never felt comfortable in a jewelry store, to me it is like I'm at a high end car dealer and I just don't belong... This visit was big and meaningful, I needed it to go perfect. From the minute I walked in Shelby was amazing. I never once felt pressured or uncomfortable and she explained everything very well. I was so happy with her service the first time I walked through their door I did not shop around, I knew my purchase was coming from Shelby and Kiefer Jewelers. I left and came back about a week later when I had more time to customize my order. I had an idea of what I wanted when I walked in and Shelby was able to pull it all together. We completed the design and finalized the purchase, I left very happy with the product design. About an hour after I left I received an email from Shelby (my preferred method of communication) advising me she had found the design I had originally been looking for. Included in the email were both designs to compare along with the slight price difference. When I received the follow up email I was shocked she continued to look for the original design after my purchase was made. It showed me she wasn't in it just for the sale. Getting me exactly what I wanted is what mattered to her. I made the changes through email and waited for my ring to he finished. I received the message advising me the ring was finished. When I picked it up it was everything I expected. The ring was beautiful and exactly how I imagined it even before I walked through Kiefer's doors.    Read moreTook my rings in for an appraisal based on the fact this was a Rolex dealer in my local area so figured they would know what they are doing and provide great service.
My expectations were completely mismanaged. Never, ever at any point when I dropped off my rings and was told I could pick them up the next day, was I advised by Sara that it would actually take several weeks for the appraisal report to be processed and then I would have to make another trip back to the jewelry store to pick it up (after paying so much for the appraisal, I am honestly shocked they canât send it to you but rather make you come back to pick it up - I assume as a sales tactic to get you back into the store).
I have had my rings appraised twice before and that was never the process. It would not have been a problem, had I been told on the front end, so I could have made an informed decision of if I wanted to move forward with the appraisal at this store and wait on the paperwork. I was however told I would receive a phone call or text message when my rings were ready the next day. That never happened. So when I show up at the jeweler to pick up my rings and I assume my report, imagine my surprise that I was not able to leave with a report in hand.
I wonât be recommending this jeweler to anyone and I certainly wonât be returning there for any sort of business. Managing customer expectations is customer service 101. If you say you are going to let someone know when their items are ready for pick up, then actually follow through with it. And, make sure you provide all the necessary information to your customers on the front end about your process. No surprises = a happy customer.    Read moreI would like to take the time to highlight my experience with my local Rolex AD. I have worked with Brittany for well over 2/3 years now, she is very knowledgeable and professional. The service since day one have been exceptional, with Kiefers I was able to try one several other models learn about their history etc. the staff made themselves available each step of the way , not once have I ever felt unwanted in the store. Contrary to some horror stories I have heard with other AD - Kiefers is the exception in my humble opinion. They do value your actual needs and care about customer satisfaction.
Now the product reviews , purchased a John hardy sapphire bracelet great daily piece, followed by a Roberto coin necklace and bracelet both gorgeous pieces that will get you compliments.
Lastly a day-just 41 everose with the Wimbledon dial.This is my baby - I only wear this on special occasions and plan to past this on to my kid (s) as a wedding gift or graduation gift . I am so glad that keifers made the experience as memorable as they did and they have since become my go to jewelry store . As of right now - they are working on sourcing a gmt master 2 for non formal wear and I have absolutely zero complaints.
