The Hungry Greek — Restaurant in Florida

I order take out from Hungry Greek Lutz at least twice a week, some days I eat lunch and dinner the same day. I know the Hungry Greek team wonders “does this girl eat anywhere else”. After eating here every week for 2 years, I can truly say this place is my favorite week night staple. I eat here because the food-quality is consistently great, the staff is polite and their online ordering app is so efficient. Hungry Greek has been a lifesaver, they have stood in the gap so many nights when I looked up at the clock and realized it is a 7:00pm and I don’t have “anything” to eat. This is the kind of neighborhood restaurant everyone wants. The FOOD! Oh my goodness, the food is excellent, my personal favorite is the chicken, beef souvlaki meals and tabouli salad. The food is cooked the same way EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. As someone who lives with IBS I appreciate the consistency with the preparation, quality and taste of the food. The staff is A+. I really don’t know how they know my name or my order. Yes, I do eat there weekly, but I don’t ever talk to anyone. No matter who is working there, they just see me coming and the staff has my order in hand. They have an uncanny way of making you feel like you’re not just an “order”, which is truly what we all want. Finally, the Hungry Greek app is very easy to use and rewards can be generated.

I feel like most people ONLY review restaurants, when they are unhappy with something, instead of letting the place know in person what went wrong and give them a chance to fix it. This is the 3rd time I have gotten food here. The first time, it was rough... An obvious off day and speaking to the “manager”, a young girl, she was extremely apologetic and because of her, I decided to give it one more chance. Mind you, it took almost a year. Not their fault, I was just very busy and then the pandemic happened. Anyway, 2nd time, was two weeks ago. Girl in the phone was so friendly. I explained what I wanted and she went above and beyond to explain to me how I could order to get exactly what I wanted. That was appreciated and I wish I would have gotten her name... 3rd order was tonight. Again, girl on the phone sounded friendly, gave me exactly what I wanted, repeated my order back to me. The only thing she forgot was my total. I have a feeling she may be in training cause she did sound a little insecure. No matter, she was great! Went to pick up my food. Large crew for a Tuesday night... I don’t think I have ever seen so many people in a small kitchen. Food was TERRIFIC. Spinach pie slice I had was flaky and tasted super fresh. Meat was cook perfectly. So, kudos to the crew!...
