The service technician/owner/manager who greeted me seem to be a bit aloof however I presumed since Astoria been there for a while but he was competent. After asking them to replace the USB port for my phone, I gave him a deposit and I asked him specifically to replace the USB port. Those who know me, know that I have experience fixing cell phones laptops and computers, however I did not want to risk this phone because it was so Important to my business. To make a long story short, he assumed moore was wrong with my phone, incompetently opened up my phone, and then damaged the wire to my screen. He tried to convince me when I returned that that problem at existed with my phone when I brought it in because it would not turn on. Everyone who knows me knows that my phone has been giving me problems charging and only charging for the past month and a half. The man opened up the phone, encountered technology that he was was not accustomed to, installedin the USB port as requested, however he never reattached any of the other sensors and, like I said damaged the screen connection ribbon while trying to open the phone. He took the money for the repair and refuses to accept any responsibility for the damage that he caused from my phone through his incompetence. Worse than that, he tried to convince me that the phone and I was using right up until the moment I could no longer charge it was damaged. He was arrogant and condescending not realize it but I had a background doing repairs on similar items...

Took my daughter's phone in to get a new port and possibly new glass. He cleaned the port at no charge and let me take it home to see if that was all that was needed (and it was). I went back a couple hours later for the glass, and he replaced in the time I thought I was waiting for a ticket. Charged me $10. He could have charged more for his time, let alone the glass, and he could have sold me a new port, but he did what was needed in the fastest, most considerate way possible. I almost wish I had more broken stuff so I could give him some actual money. Amazing...

This dude is a scam. I went in a couple months ago for a iPhone XR screen replacement and he charged me $100. I came back today for the same thing and he tried to charge $120 until I told him he charged $100 last time. I noticed after leaving that on the window it says 25% off iPhone screen replacement with screen protector included so it should’ve been $75 and he tried to charge $120 and didn’t even include a screen protector until I asked before...
