After being a very loyal customer & spending an average of $350 a month for over 2 years here I had a terrible disagreement with an employee & her manager over a $2 deodorant that I was trying to simply EXCHANGE because the twisty part on one I had bought week before was broken. I had just rang over $200 worth of groceries (no exaggeration) & I told the employee I needed to simply exchange the perfectly new, open but unused $2 deodorant stick. She told me no I couldn't exchange it. I refused to pay until she would allow me to EXCHANGE the deo with the exact same brand, size, scent...probably from same box. She absolutely refused. I finally asked for a manager. She said sorry no returns without receipt. By this time I was very irritated & disrespected. It was if they were treating me like a thief or scammer. After couple mins of me begging for them to be reasonable I asked the manager if there was ANYTHING I could do to get them to exchange my deo because I just wanted to get my groceries & get out of there. She told me if I could find my date & time of purchase then she could go back through something & see if she could find my receipt at this point I was ready to explode so I started going through my online bank statements & I must've used a credit card because I couldn't find the transaction in my checking acct charges. After about 15 mins of arguing over this issue I held up the deodorant & said to the manager "you really want to lose $4000 with of business every year because you don't want to exchange this $2 deo for me?" She said oh? Exchange? I thought you wanted to return it for cash. Sure, I can do that for you...
Read moreThe Lansing store never offeres both replacement and refund. Goodness, who keeps all their receipts ? I sure dont. I have already had tho, and never offered both. Today, I replaced snack item, was not told anything about a merchandise certificate/cuopon to use at another time. Once I returned a bad veggie item, and the guy totally embarrassed me, said I should have returned it right away. Good heavens, do they (you) really think we have nothing to do but return to stores with bad items ? I thought, next time, I should call, explain unsatisfactory product, and say, please come by right away and pick it up ?! Then , you'll have it right away ! I mean , selling bad product is your fault, not mine. As a matter of fact, said item was bugging me taking space in my fridge way to long, several times I had been near Aldi, but hadnt planned, so didnt have it along. So it was a while, but certainly no 90 days. In summary, I hate returns to Aldi, because they are never kind, and they do not uphold the store policy. I have shopped this Aldi as long as it has been there, 10-20 yearsk i guess. They used to have the hardest working helpful gals there, they are since gone. That aspect is still pretty good tho. but return...

Placed a curbside order on 4/24/25 for 4/25/25 2-3pm. Received notifications as the order was shopped. My order was ready for pick up early being notified at 11:00am. Arrived at 2:44pm and checked in. The curbside is located to the front left of the building on the far side. There are no visible signs to guide to the area. My ETA was 5 minutes to receive my order. No other customers were at the curbside. Received my order at 2:57pm. My order was accurate. No verbal communication from the employee. He loaded the trunk and walked away.
Old Review: New store, good selections and pricing. Perfect for a quick grocery store run. Only had one cashier working by the name of Victoria. She rang us up fast as if she were two people. Took no time getting through the line, unlike other locations I been to. Will be a...
