I don't know if it is largely due to that this location has only been open for 4 days officially or if I just caught it on a bad night but this was easily one of the worst experiences I've had at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
I placed a to go order during dinner rush and was told my order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. The young lady who took my order asked me to repeat my name 3 times for her over the phone, I even went so far as to spell it out for her letter by letter. Upon arriving, they couldn't find my order because the girl misspelled my name in the computer.
They forgot to include the side order of ranch that I had requested and I had to wait another 5 minutes for someone else to go get it. Upon getting home, (we live less than 5 minutes away) I opened my food to find that the potato wedges we had ordered were almost cold, didn't look appetizing at all, and the cheese looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. The wings were satisfactory though.
The only redeeming quality about our brief visit to this location was the conversation that I had with an employee named Elizabeth, who went above and beyond in delivering extraordinary customer service.
The young man that I first gave my name to to find my order didn't even follow up with me to tell me they couldn't find it. He looked, didn't see it, and then proceeded to help other customers instead of asking me if it would've been under another name or ask me what my order was. Had it not been for Elizabeth's initiative, we may have continued to wait for our food much longer than we already did.
Bottom line, it's a Buffalo Wild Wings, and while it's nice to have a new food destination locally, they need to get their feet under them before I...
Read moreHow disappointing, went to catch the last of a football game. I ordered a patty melt burger without bacon as I am not a fan of pork and beef together. When the burger came out it had bacon on it and I said "oh I ordered it without bacon" the manager said it could be fixed in 3 minutes so I said go ahead. I was hesitant to say fix it because I took insulin from my pump when I seen it come out. Well 20 min later after not getting checked on I seen someone from the kitchen come and ask who's burger it was supposed to be. The manager who was also behind the bar never once checked or cared if I got it. I explained to her thanks but be more mindful as my blood sugar was dropping because I took insulin on her word as if would only be a few minutes. My mom who was sitting right next to me saw it too, the manager looked at me and spoke to me as if she didnt believe me. I've been a brittle type 1 diabetic since I was a kid and never once felt like someone thought I was putting on a story for food, not that I had to explain myself considering the food took way longer than it was explained to me and it was never followed up on. For a small town we don't have many options but this is one place that is completely off my list to go too from here on out. Oh and then we ended up getting out bill placed in front of us twice, almost as if they expected we were not going to pay it...I had just finally got my meal and was eating and the bill was plopped in front of us by 2 different people. We ordered an appetizer, Motz Sticks and about 5 mins later we ordered our meals. 33 mins later all of our food came out. Not sure why it took 33 mins to get our food and especially get our starter at the same time as our main meals. It was 9pm and wasn’t that busy. My meal came with no fries on my plate and the server wasn’t going to even mention it until I asked.
We noticed how there seemed to be no employees around at all. Tables were sitting around waiting for any server to come up and talk to their table.
We sat by the take out area and saw someone waiting to pick up and order, which they have been waiting for about 20 mins before and someone came out and told them it was never made.
After that ordeal we saw another customer come in and wait for their take out and no employees around came over to them at all. After 15 mins she finally walked over to the bar.
The men’s bathroom sink was gross, clogged and had a bunch of mold growing around the drain which caused the water to not drain.
At the beginning I asked our server about a free 6 piece of wings for my Birthday and he said no problem he will add it to the order. At the end the bill came out and I was charged for those wings. He came back about 8 mins later and took my number and got it fixed but was absent for a while after giving us the check.
Over all it wasn’t a pleasant experience and made us question if we ever wanted to go back to BWW. I think the regional manager or corporate needs to do something major...
