The North Laredo store was my go to place for the athletic clothing for my daughters for both birthdays and holidays. After a bad experience with manager Alonzo I will be giving my business to the store by the mall or go to the outlets. This person was rude and argued about a credit. He was not polite and didn’t even say thank you afterwards. Where do these managers get their customer service training. ? The item returned was originally $22.00 with tags they wanted to give me a $6. Credit and then he says a $15 gift card . Rapidly he changes to 20% off next purchase. When I was ready to pay he wanted to give us the 20% on a $20.00 purchase which obviously it would be $4.00 . Come On!!!! After I argued about it he gives the $15 credit and walks away upset. Good store for all things outdoors. I wanted to buy a shirt and they didn't have my size. I asked two employees for help since the store has signs that say "if you can't find your color or size we will order it for you". The first employee just told me they didn't have it in stock in that store nor in the other store in town. I asked a second employee and he told me the same thing, and he also told me it was unavailable online, he told me to go and check at the store again in the next week. Sorry but last time I try and buy a firearm at Academy. The worker refused to run my information becouse he said that he had no way to verify if my ID information was correct. I told him that he had my ID on hand and that it already passed a background check last month and that it was ok. I am the one that will be signing the forms taking responsibility for the information I provide. And this gentleman still refused after speaking with the manager.
