First, I go every weekend literally. There isn’t a weekend I’ve missed since they opened lol. For the reviews saying they close early and the 1 specific review saying on 6/4/22 hardly anyone was there, let me explain. Rain. It’s been raining practically every weekend in June and I don’t blame them for not coming out. It takes time to set up all of their stuff and time to break it down. My sister was in town on 6/4 and even though the the market vendors were scarce, we were able to walk and find a few items. I suggest you check the weather first, I mean, the people are outside. They don’t want their goods wet.
I really enjoy the market and I’m glad they’re here. It’s where I buy all my produce. If there’s something I want but don’t want to pay the asking price, oftentimes, I’ll ask the vendor if they’ll accept my offer and they usually do.
As far as the dollar parking, I don’t mind paying because that created a job for those kids. I asked one kid if they were volunteers and he told me no, they got paid. Since then, I happily pay my dollar. Beats taking the chance of getting towed across the street. I watch cars get towed while I sip my coconut milk because that’s none of my business 😂
Anyway, I’ve found a lot of reasonably priced items here and delicious foods. I’ve met some interesting people as well. I will...
Read moreI recently ventured to Pinellas Farmers and Flea Market in search of a place that could echo the variety and quality I had come to love at the now-closed Wagon Flea Market. Though slightly smaller in scale, Pinellas has thoroughly impressed me with its offerings. I was delighted to find an abundance of Asian vegetables, which are a rare find elsewhere. The selection doesn't end there; from luscious fruits to staple American vegetables and an array of plants, this market has it all.
The ambiance is an aspect worth mentioning; it's clear that both vendors and customers are enjoying their time, which creates a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. Set in a spacious parking lot, the market never feels too crowded, which allows for a leisurely shopping experience.
Whether you're a culinary enthusiast hunting for specific ingredients or someone who appreciates the freshness and quality that only a farmers market can offer, this is definitely the place to be. It may not be as large as some of its counterparts, but it more than makes up for it with its variety and the sheer joy of the...
Read moreI'm hoping this woman Erica reads this. This is no lie. She's been collecting stones mining all over the world for 20 years. She's got stories for days! But I'm wondering why I haven't seen her. Last I knew she had GIVEN with no strings 700+ bracelets/anklets or whatever you wanted.. the catch was to bring her with you always. I thought she was kidding. She told me she started running out of the ones she found, polished, and tumbled all on her lonesome. With a 40 hour job and mom was in stage 4 cancer. She was financially struggling around COVID bc of the medications catching up with her, plus she has been by her mom during a 5÷ chance of her coming back. Oh fun fact: her grandmother on her father's side had that movie called Awakenings made about her! I think her name was Lily? But, either way, I bet that young woman is out there helping the world. But I found a 2 year old one with moonstones and lapis. I need Erika white to start getting creative and let's get us some grounding action...
