I have been to better Dottys locations... well... the inside has a nice amount as well as variety of games... but it was pretty busy the whole time we were there... but it wasnt so much the establishment that I have been to better than.... but more so the workers and the services that we recieved... and/or did not recieve at this particular location... I wasnt even offered or ever given an ashtray.. and the employees were not very friendly as most (not all but mostly) Dottys employees tend to be.. in fact one of the main employees, the first one we encountered in particular, had a weird strange attitude to begin with!! But what made it worse and stand out much more to us was the fact that... there was other customers/guests before during and as well as right when we were leaving that I assume are 'regulars' or something.. that did not get the same standoff-ishh cold shoulder attitude or almost as if we were a bother or burden to be there gambling... & if we didnt get the feeling of being unwanted... the only other vibe we got... was as if we didnt exist.. or were invisible! Hahaha!!..... While the customers that I assumed were regulars.... & the employees, were talking and laughing and seem to be having a nice time and such... the entire time... so not sure if it was personal or what exactly..... not to mention .... we ended up wasting a nice chunk of $$ there and didnt win at all... not up and down.. or give and take... it was just all take take take take !!! Lol jeezzz.... maybe it was the Vibe that contributed as well...
Read moreThis is the second bad review I am writing on Dottys. you can google the first one Dottys 57.
About six months ago, I was at Dottys at 1690 N Decatur Street. Decatur and Vegas Drive. That is when I first met Nathan the afternoon bartender. I had been there for about 8 hours playing I must have left a $500 deposit in the machines.. When I was cashing out I asked him for a coke....He said No.... I had to be playing.... Now I had asked him about three times previous and was still waiting. I can understand that... but I was playing for 8 hours A coke is what 15 cents??? From this point on...I have never tipped him...
About a month later, I was cashing out...I left him 67 cents... he brought it back over to me... and told me..."you get what you pay for" This is after I told him that I didn't appreciate waiting for 45 min for a coke.
Today I was playing at my favorite machine, he walked by...I asked him for a coke...He said to me "NO THANK YOU" and walked away....I didn't take this seriously until a half hour later..I left without cashing out..i was livid....
I am a disabled gay man.. If this isn't discrimination I don't know what is.
The other bartenders Kyle, Monica, Sharon and Angel are all cordial Nice, and coonsiderate They usually bring me my first coke when I walk in. I do tip them all, except...

I told her the game I've been playing your minimum bet at luxe life for 20 minutes now and I just lost 40 bucks and none of you were paying attention to me Sat down on a machine right in front of them and went through another $10 and nothing needless to say they still refuse so I paid the $2 for my beer whatever I'm not going to fight with these people over a $2 beer. Meanwhile Indian lady with the mask on just sitting there staring at her phone behind the register while the other girl does all the work cleaning the bathrooms.
Even when I pulled out my money to pay for a beer I told her give me two so I don't have to walk back up here again and she said no I'm only allowed to buy one at a time... I've been to multiple dottys and this has to be the worst. No thanks. I won't be coming back.
There's obvious favoritism going on here too because the lady cleaning the bathroom just ignores me walked right past me three times bringing other people Coronas who were only playing 20 cents at the...
