Just discovered Barril El Parce on Decatur, a brand-new family-owned Colombian restaurant that has only been open for a few days — and I’m already convinced it has a bright future ahead!

The chicharrón was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor. The picaña was cooked to perfection — juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely mouthwatering. To wash it all down, the authentic Colombian sodas were a refreshing and nostalgic treat that paired perfectly with the meal.

What truly made the experience special was the superb staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing their culture and food — you really feel like family from the moment you walk in.

We visited this place looking for something colombian and we discovered a little piece from it in Las Vegas. The place is charming and the decoration gives you the vibe of being at a museum with some traditional things from there. Very colorful! The food was exceptional, the chorizo and the chicharrones were on point, juicy and flavorful. Even the salsas and the guacamole were delicious. We tried the traditional postobon sodas from Colombia, I’ve never had some but they’re quite good. And my favorite part… DESSERT!! I tried the Milhojas de Arequipe and it was amazingg! Make yourself a favor and try some. The freshness, the texture and the combination of flavors melts in your mouth. Last but not least, we played the “boli-rana” (bolifrog) game. Apparently it’s something typical from there, so funnn!! Definitely a place worth...
