Mojave Bloom Nursery — Local services in Las Vegas

I love this place! I’m so GRATEFUL that they’re here during a time when I’ve got a bare yard to landscape. 😃

I’ve bought beautiful, interesting trees here that I would had trouble sourcing anywhere else locally (Mexican Blue Oak & Palo Brea)…and I’ve also bought native plants for the wildlife garden I’m building (and beyond the usual natives you might find available)…and house plants to bring the plant love indoors during the summer…and beautiful pots for my plants…and I’ve attended workshops on irrigation, wildlife gardens and tree selection.

They fill such an important need in Vegas — the knowledgeable plant shop that’s intentionally curated and thoughtful — and isn’t just a big box store that’s stocking all the same overplanted things seen in all Vegas landscapes.

I’m speaking from the perspective of a true plant nerd with a horticulture & desert ecology background. But I totally also recommend popping by Mojave Bloom if you’re NOT a plant nerd but have a yard (or home) and want to grab some plants for that are truly right for our climate and that you’ll be excited to watch grow.

Just ask the staff some questions or to point you to what you need — they’re great. It strikes the balance between being intimate enough to have support but also big enough that it feels like you’ve got your own space and privacy to think and ponder on which plants you want without pressure.
