I love this place! Such an awesome addition to IL Valley. So many local centers and artists to see their spooky, witchy, metaphysically and general oddities- as well as just some neat crafty items! My spooky orange boy was really interested in my mystery coffin. When I opened it up there was an orange cat sticker inside! As well as a Buffalo tooth, a coffin shaped agate, a ring, a pin, some stickers, a scrunchy (kind of unfortunate for me as a bald human 😂), a teeeny amber jar of lavender herbs, and some cute filler and little glitter stars. And perfectly priced at $13 to keep the spooky vibes going.

I love this place so much! The employees are always incredibly nice, and the whole vibe of the store is wonderful. The store's name is perfect, too. There are so many interesting and incredibly unique items that I promise you won't find anywhere else in the Illinois Valley. In fact, many things, you won't find anywhere else, period! You will especially love this place if you like spooky things. Stepping into Chaos & Curiosities is like walking into a storybook of all things eerie and enchanting. They’ve got quirky taxidermy animals, gothic décor with ravens and skulls, and even 3D-printed bookmarks that look straight out of a fantasy world. Everything here has a spooky edge, but in the best possible way. The staff is super chill and seems just as thrilled about the weird stuff as I am. It’s a must visit if you love the darker side...
