Stayed in a 3 million dollar home at the ozarks in linn creek spent 3k to stay 5 nights. Got there, the upstairs reeked of urine after the boys got settled in up there where the majority of the beds were. Had to move beds downstairs it was so bad. Then of course the downstairs smelled like sewer gas horribly for days where all the other bedrooms are, the outlets in my room didnât work, the dryer didnât even dry our clothes, there were dead bugs on the window seals and around the baseboards of carpet, the ceiling fans looked like they never been dusted although you get charged 600 for cleaning and you have to remove all the trash yourself or get a fee of $150. I reported by text of the urine on Friday and was going to follow up with the other issues once I was contacted. Turns out I got an email at midnight that night stating there phones were down which Iâm on vacation and didnât see this till Sunday or Monday. The decor flags outside were ripped to shreds as they needed swapped, the slide was filthy with mud and the water wasnât hooked up so we had to clean it for our kids. Then I get an email on my last day there saying she would send maintenance there if I allowed for it, I responded with no, weâve dealt with it this entire time whatâs the point I donât want bothered on our last day, well, she sent him anyways! Pamela also acted in a way that I was making these complaints up because she hadnât had prior complaints by tenants or cleaners which hadnât been there for a month! I got $150 credit and that was it! So I paid 3k to stay in a millionaires home that smelled like sewer and had all these issues. After maintenance came and confirmed and fixed these issues, I for sure thought sheâd reach back out apologizing and giving us a substantial price break but here I am days after leaving and not a word from her. I see these good reviews about how the care about your stay but that was not the case for us. For the price I paid, I should t of had to deal with any of this. EDIT POST YOUR RESPONSE. Was I supposed to be a mean person to your staff to get some results? Trash in the garage? The kids took ALL the trash up the driveway to designated bins that were up there. That trash in the garage was already there, nice of you to act like it was us and how you did me a favor for not charging me! Do your inspections post and pre and these false accusations wonât be made. I text you hours before your lines went down and you never responded and even told me you didnât get my text which is hard to believe if your now saying it wasnât till 11pm that the lines were down which if true means you lied. As stated once I spoke to you finally after seeing my email that your phone line was down I told you of several issues. You sent someone on the last day at 2pm after saying donât worry about it because you came off so rude and acting like I was making it up. You know in the state of Missouri a rental is considered inhabitable if it smells like sewer? Knowing that I was not lying and not having any remorse after, says enough for people to know how my stay TRULY was. You might have people yell at you and tell you what all is wrong but I did in kindly and I guess thatâs where I went wrong? Since you based a refund or any sort of compensation based off of my interaction with the maintenance guy?! The guy was nice and only doing his job who am I to treat him wrong? You clearly donât see any wrongdoing on your part by having a family sit in home that smelled like sewer, urine, and not fully clean. Just wait until if you havenât already that someone settles in upstairs, gets moving around and that urine smell comes back. You even sent your guy out without a carpet cleaner knowing of the urine.    Read moreOmg! I absolutely love planning our yearly visit to Lake of the Ozarks with Lake Day Rentals!! Once we picked our dates, their planning committee started designing our experience. Their customer service is the best in the industry. Their online booking system was user friendly, efficient and almost effortless. The place we stayed was if it was designed just for us. Like a home away from home. All we really needed to bring was clothes, food, drinks, toothpaste and a toothbrush. It had every small kitchen appliance you would need. Oh the spice cabinet was loaded with so many spices. Loved having an on-site washer/dryer. Didnât need to rush home to do laundry! Love that there is shampoo, conditioner and body wash in every shower.
Letâs talk entertainment! Beautiful deck with seating, fire pit and a very nice propane grill. We were so close to the hopping bars, delicious restaurants, many kid friendly activities and fun shopping. We were even able to have our groceries delivered. We had access to sunscreen, floaties and kayaks. Life jackets were available.
