Acer Trees — Local services in Layton

Of four tree services I contacted, Acer Trees was by far the most responsive. I’ve had several communication back-and-forth's with Mark and he has always been quick to respond, and helpful. While he was at my place to provide a tree removal quote, he thoughtfully answered all of my questions, and happily provided tree care pointers. He even found early signs of pine scale on one of my trees and told me how to take care of it.

When it came time to remove the tree, Keven and his crew did an excellent job. I wanted them to grind the stump down as low as possible, and they went above-and-beyond to get the big machine into my backyard to make that happen. When they were done, they left my backyard clean, and everything back as if they'd never been there at all (except the missing tree, which was kinda the point :)).

Honestly, my experience with Acer Trees far exceeded my expectations, so much so that I was looking forward to leaving this positive review. You really should give Acer Trees a shot if you're in the market for tree services, you'll be glad you did. ...

Customer service and professionalism still exists at Acer Trees. I was thoroughly impressed with Acer Trees way of doing business. Communication was excellent, work was done on time and very professional, clean up and overall impression was top notch.

I've used them here in Davis county and up in Garden City, Bear Lake. They are so knowledgeable professional and easy to work with. They really know their stuff and how to maintain, plant and remove trees and shrubs. I would recommend them highly to anyone that needs tree services. And they're so fast, with the right equipment it is amazing how quickly they get the work done, would have taken me much longer to do it myself and it wouldn't have been done near as well or safe.

Well...

I had a large limb removed from a very tall tree, thought it would cost so much to get heavy equipment into my backyard but the crew did it all by climbing the tree and using ropes, so cool! Also shout out to having 2 ladies on the team of 5. I love seeing women doing jobs generally done by men.

I also had 2 stumps ground up, which was done very effectively. They took extra care with the machine around my existing landscaping.

This fall they are coming back to treat a sick maple tree.

My neighbors were also very impressed and now want them to come do some work in their yard.

Summary: Quality work at a price I can afford. Professional staff who put safety first. Acer will be my go-to tree company from now on. All...
