Royal 3 Cinema — Local services in Le Mars

Nice but only place in town. Only complaint I went to watch a movie with my sister and boyfriend, it was a Saturday and we went late, the person who sold us the tickets was kind of cold but whatever, later the movie just shuts off like an hour in because they "did not know anyone was watching" being it was just us three in the movie. Next thing you know they have us an option to start it over again or come back another day so we decided to watch it all over again. And the SAME person that sold us the tickets came and apologized saying she didn't know anyone was in here as if so many people came and watched that movie. It was just annoying and we ended up leaving...

This theater became really amazing after it was restored. Preferred it when the owner from The Riviera owned it as it was all high end everything and stocked with a wide variety of concessions. It is still awesome though, but definitely miss the added value he put into it. I really appreciate the convenience of having a local theater and almost always go here rather than anywhere else. Just wish I could get my hands on some of their movie...

It's pretty dated and quaint. I didn't care for the reclining seats. If there was an option to recline or sit up straight that would've been better especially because of my back. The staff were very polite and engaging and for that reason I'll come back to catch another movie. Next time I'll bring my pillow so that...
